Do you use cast or calendar vinyl for the full size graphics? I plan on doing the graphics 22 inches tall by 90 inches long, would this be full size or would i need bigger vinyl? How are you liking Ebay? Thx I honestly don't like it, like posted in my post above.. I'm staying busy from other areas now. -

How is the profit after the ebay selling fees, paypal fees? Did the postal guys pick the vinyl from your location or do you go to the postal office every day? So basically, i get the order online on Ebay, get payment through paypal, cut the order, box it, weigh it on the scale, print the receipt from USPS.com and then take it to the postal office? Thx After supplies for everything (including Shipping supplies and cost, material cost, etc) About 50% of my sales was pure profit. , Yes pure profit, profit off of coypyrighted material. so Jeffrey06, how much are you paying Duramax, Ford, Toyota, General Motors, Honda, Cummins, Yahmaha in royalties for all the copyrights you are using? I don't see that in your list of payouts. LOL Now you wouldn't have a profit at all if you did that now would you? http://shop.ebay.com/decal-jeff/m.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A1%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A2980&_ipg=200&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14.l1514 Your right. I'm slowly drifting away from ebay.. I'm starting to stay busy from just the online forums I advertise on. Hence why I bought my new machine as I'm doing alot of windshield banners for people and with longer jobs I need a cutter to stay on track. -

I use uline. I don't buy my bubble mailers from them as I can get them off ebay a lot cheaper. -

Made a 4' x 8' double sided coro sign, after doing one side I flipped it over and did the other. Guess what, it was upside down. -

Jeffrey06 replied to DeviantGeek's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I do to? Where do you start? Where do you begin to calculate cost? Do you make your own materials and price them, and then use the spreadsheet? Sorry.. :- -
I wish I had a dollar for everytime I got that message.

Market size / profit potential estimation on eBay
Jeffrey06 replied to lwsimon's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I've been going through my books as I've been doing ebay for a little while now. Overall after supplies, shipping and sales. Half my sales was pure profit, the other half went to ebay fees, materials, etc.. -
Maybe applying the vinyl to clear cling?

Man, that is a awesome spreadsheet! I'm going to look over it tonight. I'm sure I'll have questions. -
I ordered the CE 5000.

I have the MH 871 UsCutter Model. It's been good, and make me enough money to buy a graphtec machine. But, where it really lacks I think is the larger jobs (Like, 50" Long or bigger. ) stops mid cut, or it gets off track. One or the other. If you can swing the $1300 graphtec, go for it. I just did, I'll give my review on it when I get it in this week and start using it.

Depends on how big of letters you need to cut. All I buy is 24" Vinyl for my 30" Cutter. So, any 30" or 24" Cutter would do well.

Not me! 22 and fixing to graduate college. I'd make a good candidate for her lol...

Your granddaughter is a gorgeous girl! Sorry, I see nothing else in the picture.

Are you guys using Shinerite for less time intense things (short term banners, signs, etc)? I've always used Oracal 651 for mostly everything. Decals, Coro, and banners.

The avery chrome has worked ok for me. But, I haven't ordered in awhile as I hate working with the stuff.

Jeffrey06 replied to ddm00767's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
Welcome to the Refine world. I cut 20 yds of about 8 ft lettering sections and after cutting each one separately instead of sending the whole job of two or three and just ordered a graphtec today.
