What kind of cutter are you talking about..? not all cutter are the same...

I just use 20 mil magnetic material.. cut it with my plotter..and it works good for a stencil and last a long time to..

What i use is Alumalite it has 0.16" painted aluminum on both sides with coroplast in the center a 4'x 8' sheet is about $108.00... Laminators.INC make it www.laminators.com they have 10 colors too

I have a question for you aries58.. What vinyl are you using..? I had a big job one time and it had a lot of small text (less then 1/2 tall) and i use some generic vinyl.. (NEVER AGAIN) and it did the same thing you are talking about.. so I got oracal 651 and had no problems..with the small text.. plus oracal has the best adhesive in the market and i like the backing paper...
it's all about the vinyl.... just my 2 cents

what are you wanting to do... send this to your cutter..? if so it does not matter what color your text is .. just change the color so you can see it... and you not that it's suppose to be white..
