    Thanks for the reply! I tried ports 3 and 4. They did say they were in use, but I tried them anyway. I went back to com1 and it worked again. I still need to restart for the plotter to work again... Any other ideas??? Thanks!

    Hi all New to this group. I got a used mh721 and a copy of flexie 7.6. Im using Roland driver pnc1000. Thanks to this forum! Dell laptop, on usb and XP. Why do I have to restart to get the plotter to cut? I get the write port error I've been reading about. Tried a few things to resolve the issue with no luck! I can cut text that I type in flexie with no issues, but when I try to cut a .eps I get that error. Im using Comport 1. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!
