Ok I think I've got it fgured out. I think I will use Oracal 751. Any objections?

They will get warm but they should not get that hot, but if they do the guy/girl wearing the pack is in trouble and the decal will be the last thing they are worried about. I found out yesterday that is how all the decals on our packs were applied, but noone knows anything about the vinyl or the epoxy.

Not sure what type epoxy they are planning to use. Their cheif has talked with the company they are buying from but he did not tell me what it is they are going to use. They are applying the epoxy. And yes they are a pain to weed I made them a sample the other day. Yes I am clear they are called cylinders and not bottles. I called them bottles so everyone would know what I was refering to. I too am in the fire service Firefighter/paramedic on the local dept. No reason to be sorry no offense taken.

They do not need to be reflective because they are just a way for them to number their equipment for maintance and such. Does Oracal or anyone else make a vinyl that would be durable enough for this type of application other than the reflective stuff?
