  3. awwww......making me cry here :'(

Concentrate on getting well John, Selfishly I'm thinking it will mean more time you can spend on here! Thankfully with the advances medicine has accomplished this last decade, while a triple bypass is serious shit, its a very common procedure anymore and the stronger you are the better and faster your mending!

From what I have heard, you have a great big HEART so they may need two surgeons huh? LOL!!

Take care and God Bless U!!!

  4. so I have a few books with some great wall quotes, tile quotes etc....I thought I would compile a good list and share them for people that have asked in different threads. I can break it down by subject matter ie kitchen, bath, hobbies  etc. Anyone interested in this and if so where should I post it? thanx in advance!

  7. I use the paper stuff if I am doing stuff for myself or if I am applying it, though if its words i do use the clear so i can see if they are crooked etc, but for stuff I'm selling thru my store etc, i use the clear because it looks much nicer when the customer takes it with him, I have alot of premade window stickers made that a customer can purchase and take.

  8. thanx  Jenny for the update, its so good that we have you to keep us updated, I hate when people disappear from a board and no one knows what the heck is going on!!! From what I can gather by reading posts that he has done, he is tough and will make it thru this with flying colors! Not to mention all the love, respect and friendship he has from people here! He simply has no choice to get better and get back here!!

  10. Hey Dazzle,

I had to lol at your we must all be twisted in some way. But at least we are in great company...lol.

I really like how you placed the and within the other letter, really creative...  I really wanted Creative Publishing Unlimited as my biz name but when I went to apply for my licenses thru the state etc, It was against thier rules to use the word Unlimited. I applied for everything online so had to think quick as to what the last word would be. So I'm doing business as Creative Publishing & Crafts, not really happy with it but thats what it is. Cost too much for me to switch it all now <sigh> oh well! I dont have a logo though yet so at least I will be able to jazz it up somehow!

I love to weed because i love to see the picture come to life as its weeded, I asked for a magnifyer with a light for christmas, well I got the magnifyer but not with a light...<sigh> Works good though can really see the smaller bits much better!

  12. Shirt looks nice

I learned from a screenprinter that graphics are better a 10" wide, not matter what size the shirt is. Even if it is XXL, you have 10" for a nice visible design, the other inches go to the sides of the person's body, like a cilinder.

I used to have the same problem before, I would do 12" graphics and they wouldnt read well. Im using 10" now, no problem.

    Good luck.

    Joe

    Hey Joe,

quick question for ya....would that same apply to the back of a tshirt or hoodie? I have made some fire fighter- rescue stuff and while I did em smaller on the front I did em bigger on the back though not much bigger as i am using a 12 inch cutter but waiting on a bigger one. at the biggest i could go with the 12 inch cutter the graphics still look small on the back of the shirt/ hoodie to me, so what do you suggest for the backs?

  13. I like the twisted graphix myself because no matter what you do, you will be using graphics I'm sure, so really its not too restrictive I dont think, but do you think people will assume you only do twisted things? LOL!! As in you know weird, twisted things? LOL!!! But in reality, twisted means different things to different folks. I do like it though! Has a nice ring to it, Wonder if that means I'm twisted???

  14. Creative Publishing & Crafts was what I chose because I do brochures, invites, biz cards and just about anything else on paper, I also like to scrapbook and make cards and other crafty related things. I had visions of offering scrapbooking classes and card making classes etc and wasnt even thinking about vinyl until i came across a web site offering tshirt biz in a box, i thought hmmm....this might be interesting so i ordered it. I got a itty bitty press ( geoknight) a bunch of hanes white tshirts and some useless software...lol. I then went to a web site to order iron ons, little did i know that the HUGE iron ons i got would challenge me to no end with the itty bitty press i had......I ordered a much larger Mighty Press, and then discovered the world of vinyl, so i had to have a cutter...LOL!! Now you would think that i would have learned my lesson and NOT ordered such a small cutter...but did I?? hell no, I ended up with the roland sticka 12.  I had no idea that the vinyl world was so vast and there was sooooo much you could do with it! So here I am, waiting on my 24-25 inch cutter to get here, so i can vinyl till my hears content! LOL!!

Oh and while I am doing the brochures, biz cards etc I have yet to do any kind of paper crafting! LOL!! sorry if this is TMI!!! LOL!
