    I guess I qualify as the brainless! LOLOLOL!!!

    I purchased my first cricut 3 yrs ago! Last year I bought the BIGGER one and have cut alot of designs. I have approx 15 cartridges but I did not pay 100.00 for each one! I would buy them on sale at whichever craft store was having a sale. They have a software out now for it so you can do more with it and there is software that cricut does not support which give the crafter the ability to cut true type fonts etc. It is a very limiting machine because it is cartridge based and you have to use thier cutting mats etc. As I became involved in the tshirt world I have not used either of my cricut machines, I have been using a roland sticka 12 and am waiting on my pcut to get here!

    The cricuts were purchased because I am a crafty person, I was doing alot of scrapbooking and card making, even party favors etc so these machines were AWESOME as far as I was concerned because I had no idea what a pcut was or a roland etc etc.

    The cricut can cut many materials, paper of various thicknesses and types, rubber for making stamps, it can even emboss now so it really is a great machine for home crafter. Vinyl is just the tip of the iceburg as far as the cricut goes, I'm not so sure I would try and cut some of the materials on my new pcut or the roland that I have cut with my cricut!

    :'( I won two auctions on the 7th of Jan, Paypal finally paid uscutter yesterday( even though paypal took my money on the 8th)  and the cutter is coming from WA via Fedex and my vinyl pack is coming from Chicago via ups. I checked the tracking on both, no info from ups and fedex says delivery expected on the 20th for my cutter...... I'm thinking fedex is using a horse and buggy??? the 14th-20th = 7 days!!!! I am in Virginia not another country!!! My DH mailed a printer last week, came in a huge box he used fedex, regular shipping from Oklahoma to Virginia took 2 days to get here! Got to be a horse and buggy, and an old horse at that...lol!

    I thought foolishly I would be happily cutting by the weekend and I will be, just NOT this weekend!! Can you tell I'm impatient???

    This was my first experience using ebay, not so sure I'll be in a hurry to use it again! If I would have bought direct, I would have already received my machine <sigh> Live and learn as they say!

    I'm happy with uscutter not too happy with fedex!!!

    I want to just say you a hell of a woman!! To have gone through what you have, to be so depressed and feeling so badly and all alone, and now look at you!!! You are rising up no longer willing to be a victim, not letting it beat you, wanting to fight and most of all, wanting to help someone/ alot of someones that need it so desperatly!! I think I read that you have wondered what your purpose is, well its right there in your face and most of all in your heart, you want to help others!!! I'm not exactly sure what your situation is, if you own your own home, if you feel safe where you are but there is alot you can do to help others, as monkey suggested, I would seek out the battered womens shelter, or if there isnt one close by how about the local churches? I think you have alot to give someone, you just have to find your rightful place.

    I'm the type of person that loves to help other people but when it comes to needing help, i would be the last person to ask for it! you sound sort of like...well me...lol.

    Hey all, now that I have contributed a few eps files  ;) I don't mind sending a request!

    does anyone have papa smurf ready to cut? My youngest sons nick name on the fire department is papa smurf, and no he doesnt look like a smurf lol he is over 6 ft tall and does not have a beard. he is 20 yrs old and wants the decal on the hood of his car!

    they called him that because the new junior members had to wear a blue helmet, that was 4 years ago and the name stuck...lol
