that was probly ME! I had never purchased anything thru EBAY before so I had no idea that if you use your checking account when purchasing there is a 3-5 day wait for EBAY to release your money to whoever you have purchased from in my case it was USCUTTER. So I got a little irate at EBAY because they had taken my money out of my account and still waitied 4 days to give it to USCUTTER! Once USCUTTER got my money from EBAY they shipped the same day. The delay was not on USCUTTERS part it was flippin EBAY!! LOL! Renee

I'm using sign blazer...well its using ME! LOL!! I'm slowly getting the hang of it but I have not gotten to the layering yet, I would like to try it though. When the other cart teams see the ons you did they are going to want you to do thiers! so get ready! LOL!! Renee

Well, after playing around with this dumb thing for 2 days, I decided to can it. I never never got a com port listing for the card so installing the drivers ( had a disk) would have done me no good as i didnt know where the heck to install it! I have taken it out of the computer, put the stupid modem back in, decided to get the usb to work and had success! I never did have to install the drivers though, as soon as found new hardware window popped up it installed them already, vista was too quick for me! Just to be sure I went into device manager and low and behold the com ports were there so i clicked on it, wrote down the port # and did a search for updated drivers with the disk in, came back and said it had the latest drivers. My computer never recognized the serial port and it was supposed to be plug and play, so I think it had to do with the modem already having been in that slot or something. Needless to say when i take it back im also going to take my pcu to the guy and let him see if he has the correct gadget i need to run this cutter. right now its running fine on usb but i dont want to get caught short if i all of a sudden start having problems! thanx for the help! Anyone here that help me?? LOL! I purchased a serial i/o card for my computer because i have 10 or so usb ports and no serial port, its a fairly new computer, about 6 months old. running vista 32 bit. opened the computer, had NO empty pci slots ( have 3 empty spaces but none with the slots i need. So i noticed the modem was in a slot that exactly fitted my serial card. So i took it out and replaced it with the serial card. put it all back together and turn on the computer and wait for the add new hardware box to pop up..nothing. I rebooted 3 times and nothing....so what so i do now? is this slot only for a modem even though the card fit? Do i need to delete the modem stuff from the device list? how do i know what to delete if i need to delete anything? I need help! Renee

Mine does too Rodger but if I only open sign blazer and hit the f12 key nothing happens, if I open hot shots and signblazer it will switch between the two. someone said you cant save or cut from hot shot though so not sure why i would need it? Renee

the F12 key only works if you already have both signblazer and hot shot already open! then it will switch between the two. I found how to get rid of the update! Slowely but surely im learing this thing LOL! Renee

I havent tried the usb yet, it has to work for me as i have no choice, computer is too new to run out and buy another, i cant add a serial card, tried and it didnt work

thanx for the tip! worked great for me though I have to say it wasnt easy fiding hot shot! in my folder its listed as SBNT DEMO. I clicked on it and hotshot came up. I also want to add that when I clicked on the F12 key it did switch between the two, sign blazer elements to hotshot and back anyone know how to stop the program from trying to update? I need simple instructions LOL!! I am computer challenged! Renee

the pcut comes with both connectors, however, my desktop is fairly new and i discovered that #1 it doesnt have a serial port on it #2 I bought a serial port to add and discovered there wasnt a slot for it! So I have no choice, have to use usb. I had a heck of a time finding a place that even sold serial cards! Renee

For me, because i ordered from ebay it took 10 days, but I have noticed that people who order dorectly from uscutter it only took a few days However long it takes, it seems like FOREVER!!! For me it did anyway as i was very anxious to get it! Renee p.s. the longer you wait to order, the longer it takes for you to get it! LOL

Just go for it! LOL!! Make sure you have your paperwork in order, federal tax id and apply for your license ( town, county, whatever apply's) Business name and unless you use your name in it, you have to have a DBA form ( at least here in virginia I had to do that) there are alot of advantages to having a resale licence, one of them being I can buy my clothing and such wholesale! I buy tshirts for under 1.50 each and sell them for 12.00, not a bad thing! LOL. There is nothing better than having the customers come to you Renee

aries, you can download the trial and play with it but you cannot save the file, all it does is give you an idea what the program is all about and how to use it! thats the only free version i know of! Renee

LOL! been there done that a few times!! We had 4 kids, out of state visitors etc etc..now all but one of the kids is grown with vehicles of thier very own, so now I drive a colorado pick up truck! what can i say, I haul trash to the dumpsters ( we dont have trash pick up here in the country) I haul hay for horse, I even hauled shelving, clothing racks etc for my shop. cant beat it! I'm not sure though what i will do when the 1 grand baby turns into 4 or 5...etc! oh well! I do love my pick up though! Renee

Walmart will sell the paper in the craft department where the candy making/ cake baking section is. It does go along way and alot cheaper than the teflon sheets...lol. Renee

I dont know anything about the mug presses, but I do have a hat press and two of the 16 x 20 heat presses. The hat press I wanted to have in the shop because I'm hoping to pick up the ball teams here. almost every man/ boy around here wears a hat, we have hunt clubs and fox runs etc going on all the time its a huge thing out here in the sticks as is little leagues as well as school teams. I've done some vinyl on hats for my son who is on the fire department and got orders galore from the rescue squad, fire department as well as the police department. I've been closed for the past few weeks, painting and getting organized and no less than a doz people a day have stopped by to ask when will i be open again. now if I can only get my dang cutter working i will be shittin in tall cotton as they say...LOL!! no John, no comm ports listed. How did you get that jpg of your screen on here? I did see under system devices there is a pci bus listed and when i click on it it gives me a window that says that the devise is working properly under the general tab and then when i click on resources it gives the io range and memory ranges etc, then in the conflicts box it says :Memory Range 7FF00000 - FEBFFFFF not available. I'm not sure if this is the problem or not? renee
