    Does anyone here do Windows?

Thanks to everyone for looking at this for me. And yes I posted it a long time ago and never had any luck. But this time I hit pay dirt, thanks again for working this out for me. I just could not get the image to work in Corel or Win PC Pro. Again Thanks a lot for all your help... I have the name of the font I just need to look it up... I will post later
  2. I am trying to find who to contact about getting a replacement cutter head for my 721. On the bottom of the head there is a plastic piece that is held on by three small pieces of metal. All three on the right hand side all broke and when the cutter is moving it is being bent over so the blade is not cutting at all. I have ordered a new machine, upgraded to a 34 in. cutter but want to have a back up so I don't lose business because my machine is down. So if anyone can let me know who to contact about getting a replacement head for this 24 in 721 I would be much appreciated.

  7. Hello to all, I am a new sign company here in Lincoln, NE. I am looking for a sign business out there who would be willing to be a mentor for me. Kinda of like if I have questions about certain things I can send a e-mail and get a educated answer rather than making a mess of the whole project. I understand that running my company I need to learn from making a few mistakes. But I think that if I can get a person who has been through it I can cut down my mistakes by asking questions first. As we all know the sign business is very competitive, but I thought there would be someone out there that I am in no competition with that would be willing to help me out to make a go of it. I know I could use USCUTTER but sometimes you need an answer talked through a little more in detail than you can get on this forum, and at times you need an answer right away rather than waiting for responses. Again I don't want anyone to think I just am trying to work the system, but I want to become a successful business. The say if you want to become rich you need to ask the rich, if I want to become a great sign business I am going to ask sign businesses. Thanks in advance to all that spend the time to read my post. Hope to hear from you, Matt

  14. I am visiting phoenix this week and I am looking for a sign shop that can print large format prints. (8ft x 6ft). Also want to forge a business relationship for other print merchandise that I may need in the future. Always nice to meet people face to face when looking for business contacts. So if you know of anyone in phoenix that meets this criteria then please pass their name & number so I can contact them when I reach the beautiful land of Sun. Thanks, Matt
  15. Hello everyone I am going to be visiting Phoenix and I am looking for a company that can print full color on PS Vinyl that will be the size 8ft wide x 6 ft high. I would love to come visit your shop and see if we can set up a business relationship that I can take advantage of when I go back to good old Nebraska. But I am in need of 2 prints that are the size m entioned above. I am also looking to use this visit as a tax right off if at all possible so a visit to any sign shop / print shop would be great to see how the lucky people in the sun do business. Thanks for any and all help on this. Matt

    Bent plastic sign

I was wondering if the plastic needed to have a color of if it could be clear. I have a plastic that would be prefect for this application, but the plastic is clear. Drop me a line if your interested in what I have. The plastic can be easily molded to any shape with the use of heat. Plus it can be cut to size very easy as well. hysigndesigns@yahoo.com Matt

  19. We are having problems with the vinyl (Fibron) not sticking to our shirts. We used a shirt that was 100% cotton and it works great, all the letters and logo stayed great. Now we change to 50/50 on tank tops and the letters are picking and choosing if they want to stay on or not. We are @ 350 with pleanty of pressure. At times the plastic on the top is tearing and not coming off of the vinyl. We are new to the t-shirt thing so any help would be greatly appreciated. Wife said she read that the shirt can be a problem if you don't use the 100% for the vinyl to stick to it. Again any help is needed.
  20. Wanted to thank everyone for their help in this manner. We did purchase a thermo and found that the plate was not even all over the plate, causing hot spots and cold spots. Of course the manufact siad that it could not happen. We contacted a local sign shop retiring and bought his old heat press and spent $50 rather than $300 and it works like a charm. Was able to just plug it in and off we went running on shirts. But once again Thank you to all that took the time to help out a few newbies.
