I removed the cutting strip completly and I am still getting the same results. right side of the machine about 8 inches from the right is still not cutting the vinyl all the way through and the rest of the machine is perfect. could the chassis of the cutter be twisted at all. the machine has never been moved from the table it is on but the table did start to sag on the right side a little. would i be able to straighten the chassis at all and if not do you guys sell the chassis or do i have to buy a new cutter.

I did all of that and it is still doing it when i look at the plotter pen when i have it in i notice that the strip at the right side of the machine seems to be lower then the rest. so i take and try and reseat the strip on the rest of the machine and is still doing it. i ws talking to a buddy of mine and he had the same problem with his roland and he could not get the new cuting strips to seat in the track so he used epoxy and filled his groove in and made sure it was perfectly flush and level and then he puts his regular strip on top of the epoxy with a removeable adhesive. i was wandering if this would work. and what would the epoxy do to the blades without the strip. also what is the best way to put the strips in and what can i use to push them i with to make sure they are seated.
  9. I am Having a couple of problems with my ctn630. I put in a new blade and a new cutter strip that i got from you guys and now the machine is not cutting right. I have the blade just barley sticking out and pressure was origanally at 130 so i kept droping the pressure and it doesn't get any better. What is happining is when I go to cut something I start the cutter at left and when it starts it goes across and at spots it barely touches the vinyl. then when it comes back across the cutter from the right to the left it is cutting all the way through the vinyl and the backing. I have cleaned everything up very well and i do keep it maintained but it just ain't right. I have had the cutter for almost one year now and never had a lick of trouble with it till i replaced the strip and put a new blade in it. is it possible that the cutting strips could be bad or molded wrong. i bought two of them from you and they both do the same thing. i just threw one of them away because the tore it all up. I have a bunch of pojects to do and I can't do them because of the cutter not working right. PLEASE HELP

    Cutting issues with ctn630

Thanks for the help I will try that when i get home from work tonight.
  11. I am having issues with my ctn630 cutting the full width of the machine. I have had the machine now for a year or so and it has been working fine since. then just friday i put in a new 60 deg. blade offset at .25 press at between 100-120 where its been since i got it. and i pulled the cutting strip out to clean it off. I put the strip back in installed the blade holder adjusted the depth and went to cut out a couple of nfl logos for the guys i work with and the ones on the right side of the machine about 9 inches in barely touches the vinyl and the center cuts it perfect and the left side cuts to deep. checked everything over and over and over cutter strip, blade. so i purchased new cuting strips put one of them in today still does it. I am starting to get really frustrated with this. Any help would be greatly accepted. I need this to be working soon i have to letter up a buddys race trailer.
