    Drop Shadow in Signblazer

Hi there, I can save you a lot of time & frustration that you may have already spent by now. SBE is a great program fo running the cutter and editing vectorized drawings. Learn to do all your drawing on another program and import the finished drawing into SBE. Elements is a very basic program with just enough to tease you into looking for more. Good luck
  2. Pappy, Finally got the plotter up & running.......tried your suggestion.........AWESOME......worked just fine. Thanks again
  3. Pappy, I have yet to take my cutter out of the box. I am going to set it up this afternoon and give your suggestion a try. Thanks
  4. I am a newbie, I have gone through the entire forum and read every thread there is on importing inkscape to SBE but can't seem to find a fix to my problem. Here is my issue. I created a logo initially in MS Word. I tried for hours to duplicate it in SBE but was unable to do so because the version I got with my cutter does not have all the features active. I installed inkscape and vectorized my saved MS Word from a bitmap. I saved the nice clean vector as an .eps extension. When I import the file in SBE it opens mirrored......no big deal but it is all jagged like the original bitmap. what am I doing wrong?

    Clean Up Vectorized Bitmap

Hi, I am a newbie so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have vectorized a bitmap image. I now want to clean up all the jagged edges before I cut. How do I do that in SignBlazer Elements? Thanks

    elements manual available?

Hi Danieve, Welcome to the learning curve I have been searching this forum for the same thing. I cam across this: http://www.signblazer.net/Learning_guide/index.html Online version http://www.blazertech.net/downloads/LearnGde.zip .pdf Download version Hope it helps.
  7. I just got a PCUT CTN-630E 25" cutter from USCutter. The unit is still in the box. I have installed signblazer Elements software and am trying to learn. I have some graphics experience but I thought I would learn the software before even taking the cutter out of the box....can't cut what I can't design. I found the forum helpful in making my decision on which cutter to purchase. Tech support is good but actual user input I have found is the best support of all. This forum is awesome! I found the SignBlazer Learning Guide. Are there any other tutorials? I have spent a lot of time looking over the shoulder of the sign guys making sure they get my signage right. I figured that I would just aswell be the "sign guy". I am trying to create a logo that was originally designed in Microsoft Word.....I know, I know....what was I thinking?,..long story but here I am. I have imported the grayscale bitmap file into signblazer. How do I clean it up and get it ready for cutting? I have gone through most of the learning guide but seem to have missed that. I have tried designing the logo from scratch. The logo is an Alaska Ext bld font with a flag wave. The HOTSHOT demo has a flag distortion which I can manipulate but cannot save for import into Elements. The Elements demo does not have as many distortions available. Any suggestions would be great.
