  1. Thanks for your help, I'll adjust the project accordingly.
  2. Hi, I'm new to cutting and I wouldn't have been able to do anything with my new LaserPoint 24 if it weren't for the great information in this forum. My question is about the emergency stops... I have cut a few small things with no problem...I'm using the SignBlazer software on a PC. Now I've undertaken a large project for a friend who wants a twelve foot by 4 foot banner. Since my cutter holds 24 inch vinyl, I'm cutting the sign in two 24" by 12' pieces. The problem is that the part of the machine that holds the blade keeps bumping the emergency stop on the left side since the letters are so big and are going up to the edge of the vinyl. My vinyl can't really be adjusted left or right (that I know of?) since it is sitting firmly between the brackets on the rollers and is coming up pretty much centered through the pinchers. Everytime the blade bumps the red button, my project just stops and won't resume. This is leaving me with partially cut vinyl and is wasting a lot of time and money. I can't get it to resume from where it stopped...is there a way to do this? Is there a way to disengage the emergency stops? Adjust where the vinyl sits in the back? Are you not supposed to be able to go almost all the way to the edge of the vinyl? I'm just pretty much scratching my head at this point and would really appreciate some pointers. Thanks!
