Well John.........I have been in the sign business 50 years........and its always been as Banner John says..........just do good work and a fair price... and yes others will come and go....I have seen all the big prices some claim to get........but they don't tell you about what they don't get.......I have a friend in this business who will call me and rub in a big deal.........then I see him give stuff away just to keep busy..like going to a horse race... every week......for 6 mo. and then you hit a good one get a couple of hundred.......and say I won! (yeah) but don't count all the lost......so what I am saying is all that glitters is not gold.......Hang in there we have all been like you at one time or another..........
-
have a MH-721 and it gets used hard every weekend at a flea market......Had it since Oct 2008 and its a favorite........I have a OM-60 Newstar also but I use the 721 myself my helper uses the Newstar.........I know it would do your job....no problems........I use flexi software....7.5 flexi-pro and signlab works great with both of them......
-
I use Avery and Universal both have worked good for me for 20 years or so......
-
The only problem I have, is that the cutter blade tends to scratch across the stencil when not cutting. I don't have this problem when cutting vinyl...so I'm not sure whats going on with that.
Stencil Material is thicker.........

Yup! and I would like to say....I bought a MH 721 in Oct 2008 and I use it at my shop 4 days a week........I had a small problem that Ken took care of and the machine is great! I also have a Newstar OM-60 and I use it also on one station.....but I personaly use the MH-721 I kinda like the thing........cuts as nice as the Newstar and I cut alot........can't say anything except thinking about getting another one.......never enough cutters, but then I have 5 stations to keep busy on.......Oh I use Signlab and Flexi software Glad I bought a 721.... The main intent of this forum is tech support.Marcus has been kind enough to allow a separate category for graphic posting and requests. Even with things as they are, occasionally the server gets full and nobody can post anything. Marcus has a lot on his hands and right now, another server would be nice, but the reality of it is, US Cutter is a dealer who sells graphic CDs as well as cutters. From a business standpoint, it would be in his best interest to not allow posting of graphics at all. Be thankful for what we have and learn to use the search feature. Banner John said this......
So I will agree and not send any graphics........ go to US Cutter and Buy what you want.......after all If you want to be in the sign bussiness spend some money this old world is tough and we have to BUY what we want..........Now I bet this will draw FIRE............Ouch! woooo Ouch!
