  1. I have a MH 721... 2 years old and I push it hard at a flea market every weekend every week 3 days and I also have a Omega OM 60 that cost 3 times as much.......I love my 721 but I use it with Flexi-Pro software and Signlab, Cuts fine and starts and ends where it is supposed to. all I Can tell you is do what you think is best.......I have had Roland, Gerber, Newstar, and Refine........ all have worked well but the Sign Blazer to me is Junk..........So I would be looking at software.......... cutters are only as good as the software.......Banner John steared mr to the MH-721 and I have never been sorry..... maybe tomorrow I will be, but not as of yet..........Big JimT

  2. I live in Fla. and east of the Mississippi always takes longer, as for the MH-721 I have one, Must be the best one ever built from what you all say here........ I know its not but seems like you all have bad luck with the 721. use mine 4 -5 days a week and cut alot on it. and works great, with flexi I don't know but

it does take exter time to get to fla. and I know when you want something you hate to wait, so thats why I have two plotters, all shops need two, I just find it to be a fact, you might think about that....

sure saves time and gives you one to work wth while one is down. I know Cost...... but all bussiness have cost.... its just a part of the game.....I would love to think all I would need was 1 Computer and a Plotter

but thats not true........you need 2 of everything......or you have to wait......Ol' Signmaker...been there done that.

  3. I work a flea Market here in Florida, been there almost 4 years and do very well, I Make Lamp post Signs,Truck lettering,Banners,Magnetics, Decals,Tags, etc.  I have a MH-721 USCutter and a Newstar Omega 60 Cutter, Epson wide format printer, and 4 work stations in a trailer I built on a 7' x 14' chassis

by Bigtex Trailers, Tamden wheels,5500 lb axels...also a Porter Cable 5500 gen. so I have electric anywhere I go...(Air Cond) also and Heat as it does get Cold here Now and Then. but all you need is a Computer and a cutter and materials...... and you can rent a table and work out of a van or a car trunk if you want....."GOD has blessed me very well" to have the setup I have.......but started with just a Roland 1050 cutter.....and Cadlink cut, and Coreldraw 4 and some vinyl. Started small and went from there.........Oh and I just replaced that old Roland last year with my MH-721 from USCuter

used it from 1996 till 2008 was a real workhorse......

  4. Flexi will work fine....I use Flexi Sign Pro and it works great for me and it will for you too.

I also have Signlab and it works too........ But I Mostly use Flexi Sign Pro 7.5 but Flexi starter

    will get you going.....

  5. My wife thought getting the floor covering replaced in the laundry room and installing the new washer and dryer was more important for some reason.LOL

yeah....... you can't print with a washer and dryer........lol

  6. Second Thought do what ever.........Hell I do as I please but then I am 66 years old

and have seen alot you will never see.......as sign making today is not neer as much skill

its just who has the most toys to produce it with........we use a cutall, jig saw, Hand router, amd scroll saw. today its CNC, Printers, (because you can't paint with a brush) lazer, etc. all in the

name of progress.......yep ok......lol Have Fun and Happy New Year

  7. The ones that I have sold I did not.  I have a couple here that I did just fooling around and wanted to see how they would look they are still holding up good, like you I have read the same thing.  I used clear enamel spray, but I heard that the frog juice wont yellow, I am not sure it's necessary if it is just going to hang on the wall or on a stand.  I just make sure the tile is super clean and I go over it after its done with a tennis ball to make sure it's sticking good to the textured tiles.

Yes frog juice is a polyurathane, stays clear and polys bite much better to almost everything

have used it for years.......but also use Dupont 7600 clear with a hardner.......both do well

but cost wise Frog juice 7000 clear is great  (order from Far-From Normal) best price I have found

and is owned by Butchs Brother.......Butch Anton in the Owner of Frogjuice......

  8. I use and have for years..Magum Mag 30 mil (Fellers) and It has never

been a problem.......but do round the cornors, and strong mag numbers only hurt if you

leave on all the time and don't clean and wax under them now & then.....

and if you want permament then just apply vinyl to surface.......why use mags?
