  1. I believe by default it is set in inches.  The easiest way to tell is by looking in the in the top left hand side of the ruler, right below the top toolbar. There is a square in the corner that you can click on to change from inches to millimeters.  It should say inch if it is set in inches.

  2. Nice case, that looks great.  I just bought me a 47" LCD tv and I ordered parts to put a HTPC together for it.  I hooked my daughter's laptop up to it via HDMI and I liked it so much I had to build a HTPC for it.:P;D

    Nice build it looks awesome.

HTPC is very sweet, Ive had it hooked up to my DLP and it looks awesome. Just wish I had more room in my house I would move my office into my living room

  3. I took the red pill  :P

I'm an Intel man myself - but good setup  ;D  Any reason for no SSD boot drive?  I know the designs for constant use in a PC system are still new, but the prices are starting to look pretty good.

Cost is the only reason I dint go that route.  For the size I wanted and the cost reflection of both, I decided to stick with the old school HDD, otherwise I would have loved to :)

    ASUS FTW!!  ;D

We'll see how well this board stands up, if its like the others Ive used hopefully it will.  If not ASUS is up next .

WOW! is that a christmas tree?, or a computer?! ;D:P

    bb

I usually dont put up a christmas tree cause I live by myself and dont see a point, so this will light up my house year round and serve a purpose  ;D  Thanks for the comments everyone :)

  4. With photoshop, even if you save it as an .eps, it is still a raster(basically still a bitmap) image that needs to be converted to a vector image so SB can read it.  Adobe Illustrator, or Corel draw can convert rasters into vectors, or you can try vectorizing it in SB, or you can use vectormagic.com to get the image converted. Im not sure if SB can convert a photoshop .eps file, best best if yor going to use signblazer would be to save the file in photoshop a .jpg.

Im also not trying to be rude, but did you even read my whole first post?(quoted above incase you missed it)  photoshop will not save it in a vector format, .eps does not always mean vector, especially with photoshop, photoshop does not create paths for the cutter to follow, hence raster image, a vector image has paths(or nodes) that the cutter will follow creating the cut. Simple research is all this stuff takes.  I like to help people as much as I can, but it also requires alittle bit of reading on your and learning on your part.  Dont expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter. Again not trying to be an asshole or rude to a you, just asking that you give alittle bit into the learning part.  ;D

  5. The logo I posted has the genuine draft words in it.  Import it into signblazer and click on "split", this will separate everything in the logo. then delete what you dont want, and arrange what you do.  I tried to attach one I just did out of that logo, but attachments still arent working.

  6. See if you can attach the image here, and I can see what your working with.  I know there was some trouble with attachments earlier this week and dont know if they are working yet or not, but if you cant get it attached Ill give you my email address and you can send it to me.  Also when you get some time, google - vector images - you should be able to find alot of useful information on vectors, or search this wonderful sight and you can probably find alot of info here to.  Basically any kind of cutter, or cutter/printer uses vector images.

  7. In signblazer, in the drop down menus, go to image then click monochrome, use the slider to get the image as close to how you want to look as you can, then click ok.  then go back up to image, and click vectorize, click ok again and it will change the image into a vector.  Keep in mind you have to have the image you import selected for either of these options to work.  once you have it vectorized, you can delete the original image, and edit your new vectored image if needed.

  9. Thanks Kage , That is EXACTLY what I wanted to know . Saves me going thru what you described & I am not handy with computer stuff outside of clicking yes , no or multiple guess  ;D I would also rather deal with clicking 4 times ( 1 post said there is a trial version that only has 1 click to get to the design workspace.. wish I could find that download :) ) .

No prob rodger, I live to experiment  :)

  10. If for some reason you have a blade ware out, and need a quick replacement for your roland style cutter blades.  Go your local walmart or craft store that sell cricut cutter supplies. They use the same style roland blades.  They only come in 60*(2 = $;D from what Ive seen, but could get you out of a bind really quick if need be. Thought Id share  :)

  11. Hey, I know what this guy was talking about.

I have the patch to bring it back to 6.0.5 and the exe to use.

I attached the EXE that you need, but can't attach the patch that you need, because its too big (2939 KB)

Most people just want to get something for what they know and usually, it does not work.

This place is great. Thanks for sharing

Let me know if there is a way that I can get the file hosted

Now this does work, cause I just tried it, but you are going to be trading off one evil for another.  Downgrading to the 6.0.5 version and insrting the fixed .exe you have posted gets you away from having to click past the trial mode screen, which is good for the most part.  But in downgrading you will now get the pesky .pvw files popping back in with all the files you look at in SB.  I tried updating it back to the 6.0.25 version after running inserting the .exe file, and it pops the trial mode/registration screen back up. So no updating the fixed program.  So you will either have to deal with the trial screen, or with the .pvw files creating them selves again.  Me personally can deal with either but prefer not having to go thru the hassle of deleting the files.  I do want to thank you brad for posting this up, and keeping the spirit of sharing knowledge alive, the reason I feel this board was created in the first place!  :)  ;D
