How can I put projects over to a disc
wasatchcars replied to mountainman graphics's topic in SignBlazer
I also have 2 external drives that get backed up every night at 4am. 1 is a 16gig flash drive in the front usb port that when I leave the house for work it goes in my pocket just in case of fire or theft. I use folder clone http://folderclone.com/ simple program just set it and forget it. -

Having problems with eps two layer in Signblazer
wasatchcars replied to orbitgrfx's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
You just need to create a little box in a different color as your registration marks. Cut each decal color and registration color a the same time Try these triumph.EPS triumph.SBD triumph.EPS triumph.SBD -

I have tried a few times using a utility knife but its not easy cutting diagonally across the flutes I can never seem to get a nice straight cut.

How was he wasting application tape? Is it just how wide of tape he was using? If there is a better way I would like to know I just hate rolling off 8 feet of tape then just throw it away 5 minutes latter.

Turn off PREVIEW that should stop it. The same thing happened to me that fixed it
-
I think I will just go for it. There for a local used car dealer I will just be sure to sell them as temporary signs.
-
I am starting to make a few 2'X4' custom sun shades that go inside the front windshield of cars out of coroplast with quite a bit of black 651 on it. I just got to thinking it gets real hot in the summer especially inside a locked car. I am pretty sure the coroplast will hold up but do you think the vinyl will bubble up or other bad things? I would hate to get a bunch of calls mid summer that they are not lasting.

I take it from your post you are in Utah. Where abouts? If you near SLC there is a great local supplier -
I am looking to get me a cool WYSIWYG flash creating program for making banners. Years ago I had a program called (in a flash) I cant seen to find it anymore I guess they went out of business. I am now looking at http://www.go2share.net Cool Flash Maker Professional Before I buy it I was just wondering if anyone has a better option for me.

Its not the coroplast that looks crushed its the grommet. Sort of like the grommet was hammered in with no dies.
-
For the money you cant go wrong with this press I bought 4 of them just for the grommets. But I do have a question I use it 99% of the time on coroplast and use them as self cutting but the final product is more crushed than clean looking they are not loose nice and tight but don't really look that good. Is coroplast to thick? or is that just the way these grommets are?

I have a customer that I did some pricing on a Plexiglas cabinet door who wants to change the decals now. What would be the best way to remove the old vinyl (oracal 651) without hurting the door? They are 3/4" numbers.
