The grid I'm cutting is 36"x48" my line is set to 10pt but it is not cutting. I think the real issue is I have to move the file to Inkscape before I can open it in signcut because Illy cs4 will not save it(or I'm not doing it right) so thet signcut can see the file . thanks for the reply keith
-
Daazel, thanks for the reply. I though that might be the case. My cutter will cut much much finer than I can weed that is for sure. I think my issue is with my file then because I have a file this is a grid and it only makes a cut rather than a line. thank Keith

Hello all!! So just not sure how to go about this request. One of my clients would like a project matrix that will be a magnet board. I have cut a piece of steel welded a frame for it and It is getting powder coated right now. The Matrix is to hang on there wall 36" wide by 48" long. This is all no big deal. The question I have is how to make the vinyl look good with so many small lines you will pick up with you eye if it is not true and straight. Maybe I'm just being a wimp and I should just go for it and if It looks crappy do it again. Really is is all about the application on this one. Part 2 of the question is how do I do a lay out like this in Illy cs4 I'm just learning the program and there has to be a way of making a grid like this right? Any suggestions would be welcome . thanks Keith Planact project Matrix.pdf Planact project Matrix.pdf

I wanted to do the board in one piece just because I know making it with pin strip would be easier but I figures one cut piece would look nice... we will see thanks Keith

-
Jay, thanks I will open it in inkscape and give it a try. Keith
