I just recently purchased a Rabbit HX 1360 cutter of flea bay. A temporary cutter until the SP 540i shows up. It came with a serial and USB connection. As I don't have a com port on the laptop, I figured I would connect it via USB. I used the USB driver that it came with and fired the system up. Driver loaded, but didn't recognize the hardware. Then I remembered that Jerry (RIP), gave me a USB driver with the Pro Cut cutter (refine) that i purchased of him, and it worked like a charm. So I thought I would upload the driver for others to try, that are having issues with their cutters. Let me know if it works or not............ CH341SER.zip CH341SER.zip

I also had the same problem with half cuts, freezing yadda yadda yadda. The USB to serial cable didnt work for me either. What I did find was, when sending the job to the cutter, the movement from the cutter was enough to lose communication with the software. Solution..... get the cutter ready to go, press the offline/pause button, send the data to the cutter (presuming you are using SB), once it completes its cut path on the screen and the little cut window disappears, press the offline/pause button again and off you go.

Reg marks are only available in the hot shot version ( I think). I have made my own which you can use. All you do is import them in the file you are using, copy, paste, rotate,change the colors to something different and place them where you want it. Then in the cut file, chose the color that you want to cut, hold down the ctrl key and select the rego marks as well........ rego.SBD rego.SBD
