I know Stahls carries it and Transfer Express can do plastisols in reflective too, when you get more of a qty going.
-
oops sorry Dan I was reading 300s posts about Ts and then read this one thinkin he was still referring to Ts. You would be correct on those prices, I was just reading too fast
-
Guys you do realize you can purchase them for $2 wholesale right?
-
Transfer Express - great company, subsidiary of Stahls, but can get pricey Versatranz - I've done a few jobs w them and no problems. Nice ppl to work with

You would want to use translucent vinyl on back lit signs. If you use Oracle 651 the logo wouldn't show up as well when lit at night. I suppose if using mainly black it wouldn't matter as much for those areas.

I bet they let you in this time Have a good week!

ASAP PLEASE Pricing Large banner order
tory replied to Kelly54487's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
This scam has been around for a few years now in the embroidery world too. They will use an operator saying they are deaf. You will initially get paid but then the bank later reverses the payment because the monies aren't legit (stolen cc or fraud money orders etc) By then you are out the goods AND money. Sad for those that DO need to use those services for legit communications. Glad you didn't get stuck -
I always use 50/50 and have no problems/complaints. I choose 50/50 because it doesn't shrink and holds up better than 100% cotton

Supplies needed for new wall art business
tory replied to aidencooperdesigns's topic in General discussion
I would think 24" would cover your needs for wall art. While not always easy to line up, you could divide a larger image into sections and apply. I guess it depends on your market but I haven't found anything I can't cut w my 24". I could see if you were cutting wall art you might want a bigger cutter if say it was a tree vs letters. But it could always be pieced together and no one would notice if done correctly -
Practice run! That would not be my idea of fun at 3 am, hopefully you were able to go back sleep when you returned home

My sister in law uses something (sorry I only checked her pics out once a while back) and posts her vacation pics and commentary. Not sure if it would allow you to go from one family member to another such as FB does?? I like Vette's idea of a family tree and/or the family crest as the logo. If I talk to my sister in law I'll ask what it is she uses. She does amazing things w photography.

Simple answer Yes, you can use Illustrator with any cutter. It is just the design software which is then sent to the cutter software which would be compatible with whatever cutter you choose. I've heard a lot of ppl like the Graphtec. I use Corel with a Roland GX24 and send the designs to my cut software, Cut Studio. Corel has an add button which will send the design to Cut Studio automatically, saves a bit of time. Good Luck w your new venture. -
Wishing you all a safe Happy New Year

They also go on the road to diff areas if you can catch them near you. A lot of good info for sure -
You did a great job I would have thought translucent as well? Does the light show through at night? Or does the logo look pretty dark?

Good Luck Sandy

I don't have signblazer, but maybe try looking thru the posts on that section of the forum until someone that does can lend a hand. I think I remember it refers to that.

Oooooo they are there, you can ask my daughter lol. John we went on a hike in the Smokies, heading to a waterfall that I can't remember the name of right now......was more like a trickle after all that though. Well right at the trail head I'm looking down while walking and my daughter says in a scared voice "BEAR". I look up and sure enough he is peeking from a rock. Absolutely no more than 15 ft from us, amazing how many thoughts can go thru your head in a few short seconds. Well he was a she and since we all froze she continued across the trail with her cubs following. I watched her continue and grabbed my camera tryin to get a pic. Meanwhile, my daughter 19 at the time who was moaning and groaning about having to hike in the first place came to life stating "I suppose you want to continue on this hike of yours......I say yes I do..... she says, you won't be happy until we get eaten by a bear!!" But as you said, thankfully they weren't interested in us as long as we stayed still. She didn't even run either, just sauntered off w her cubs. That was one of the coolest nature encounters I think I've had.

I would love to do something like that. Weren't you a bit concerned about the bears though? The snakes wouldn't be a prob as cold as it was though
