I know this is an old thread but I am looking for a kids dump truck. Number 11 would be perfect. When I try to download it and open it in SB it is a file that says ABT and that is all that is there. What am I doing wrong or can someone just repost number 11? Thanks! Christi

Thanks again Rodger and jfought. I wish I could go and look at it or have someone else. My brother n law found it out on the west coast and I am in the mid west. I know it was running good 3 years ago but not much since then. I will have to start reading up o the printing side of the business. I was thinking if I could get it for a few hundred it might be worth a try, but like you said if I have to put a lot of money into it then it might not be worth it. Thanks for the help!

I don't know anything about this side of the business either. I was asked if I wanted to buy a used unit that sounds like it prints and cuts.They are going to be getting me the details on the machine. My worry is tat it hasn't been used in a few years. would I be having trouble with the print heads and if so would it cost a lot to fix. Basically would it be better to walk away from the deal? I haven't used this vinyl as a bumper sticker or on car windows yet. This was my first trial outside of doing the banners. Has anyone used it for auto's or on other things as coolers? Maybe I did something wrong or needed to prepare the cooler better then just the rapid tac? Christi

Has anyone used this on coolers? I tried it out and at first it seemed to work fine then after a day or so started to peel off. I put adehsive spray on it and it is sticking pretty good but still coming up in spots. Is it because the cooler is so glossy smooth? The vinyl I put on there is working awesome but not the stihl. Is there some other vinyl like stihl that works better for the printed graphics? Thanks, Christi

Haha you never know. The stihl went on great. I didn't even need transfer tape. Just peeled the backing down a bit and lined up the two top corners and used my big squegee and pulled the backing off while using the squegee and it went on perfect. The vinyl also went over the picture and stuck good which means no super glue.. Christi

Thanks so much. This is actually going on a canvas banner and is to big to not use someting. They also want vinyl that goes across the corner so hopefully that will stick after the frog juice or I am using super glue

I have used the stihl to print on and make banners. Now I have a new quest and was wondering how you apply it to autos? Do you put transfer tape on it or would that make the ink/frog juice come off? Thank you, Christi

Hi. I am new to doing the heat press side of the business and tried to search and find out my answers but couldn't find them all. I have a customer wanting to know if I can do baseball jerseys. I just want to confirm I can do this on my heat press with vinyl. From reading other posts it looks like the thermoflex would be best for this? he is looking for either somekind of a polyester or nylon mesh jersey or else a wicking polyester shirt(under armour) kind of stuff. Where would I find this type of Jersey? What would you charge to do this with 2 colors on the front and the number on the back. I also need to know the standard size for the name on front and number on back. Thank you so much, Christi

I use Oracal 631 also. I need to order other supplies though from a different vendor and they don't carry oracal. They have FDC Matte Calendered wall vinyl. 4300 series. Has anyone used this type before and if so what do you think of it? Thanks Christi

I use Sheinholographics chrome polis silver from Sign warehouse. It comes in 10 and 30 yd rolls. The bad part about chrome if you have never cut it is that it likes to bubble/wrinkle. Just becareful using a reg squgee. Put something around it or it will scratch.

I purchased Badger - Mini Mesh Reversible Tank - 8539 from S & S. They are 100% polyester. I called up Heat Transfer Warehouse in Fargo where I get my heat press vinyl. I was going to get thermoflex plus but the sales guy recommended the HTW sports vinyl for it, so being new at jerseys I ordered it.(it is really thick stuff) My main question right now is placement on the tank jersey and how do I press reversible jerseys being there are 2 layers of the mesh. I only want it on the top one. Do I put a teflon sheet between them? The tank neck hangs lower then a t-shirt so I am not sure how far down would I go on the front? Is 6" a good size for the number on the back when they have both their name and number on them? I am getting ready to cut them and want to make sure I do them right. I have only done t-shirts and this seems way different. The material slides all over the place and wants to gather. Any advice would be great! Thanks! Christi

I have only used frog juice a few times on stihl printable vinyl. It is clear and just basically makes the pic look glossy. I didn'thave any problem with cracking. Just residue getting on it when I used it outside.

I use pigment ink since I also do t-shirt transfers. To design my stuff for my printer I use corel draw x3.

That is awesome. Way easier then how I was doing it! Now only if I knew placement for them on the sweats I would have it made.

Hi everyone. I am not sure if there is an easy way to do this but,I thought I would ask just incase. I have a person that wants a name down a leg of sweats. I was wondering if there was an easy way to just type the name and then turn it to be one on top of the other or do I have to type each letter seperate and move/space them just right to do this? Hi I have the workforce 1100 I bought some stihl's vinyl. I have designed a banner in corel x3 and I want to print on it. I cut the size 13 x 36 and am trying to get the printer to load it with no luck. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have curled vinyl the opposite way so it won't curl but the printer only catches one end. Please help! Thank you, Christi

Okay I figured out how to get it to take my vinyl. Now I need to know how to do the settings. In corel draw x3 I have it set as the 13 x 36. Now when I go into the settings in the printer. I click on the user defined and try to put in 36 x 13 and it changes it to 350 x 500 and only printed a small square on my big sheet of vinyl. Anyone know what I am doing wrong here?
