Thanks.. comes from my background I guess.. I like anything monotone.. forces the eye to see it all rather than just a few parts.. Photography isnt so much my thing.. thats my sister's department.. she has that covered... I just have angles..

Thanks.. Im very very critical about my work.. I love it most days.. then the OCD will kick in and it becomes a job.. I take pride in doing the best I can.. 'anything worth doing is worth doing well' is how my work ethic is set.. I try to be careful with the jobs I take and turn down a few here and there to be safe.. Much of my experience has been more business oriented, not quite as many personal jobs as I would have liked though. Most of my experience I use when creating signs actually comes from my experience with Raster Images making websites, etc. The most important thing on any job is focusing on 'who' the business is and how 'they' act and feel about their store and/or products and services they may offer. Most of my design tips include one or two very small details about their design. As far as training.. I spent 4 years in art in high school.. no formal training in graphics at all.. all self taught.. wo0t!

hey I was wondering if people would like to submit pictures of their shops... I have noticed some newbies had questions about space requirements etc. Thought this may be useful for some.....
-
the carriage stopped working.. had the MH721 for a year and 3 months now.. will order a new carriage for it someday to fix it.. it cant keep up with the amount of work I do. Im thinking of putting in a mall kiosk here..

Ive had this shop arranged probably 4 different ways.. and RIGHT before I snapped these pictures I had stuff EVERYWHERE.. I just neatly piled it up and took it to the bedroom for pictures.. I still have vinyl for two of those Wright Way signs needing to be put together.. plotter is down.. and ordering a new one tomorrow... COPAM!

http://www.signindustry.com/vinyl/articles/2005-07-01-Avery-CastVsCalendered.php3 That site will give you all the information you need regarding your question about calendered vinyls.. For material from 1 yard, 10, or 50 Fellers has it all and have local distributers in most of the major cities in the US. Website - http://www.fellers.com I would recommend steering clear of eBay for material.. the mark up is VERY high. Check out my website for samples and ideas for design.. if you need help just shout!! Cody Wilcox SynFX Advertising Co. http://synfxonline.com
