Well said Dan!

If you hit an artery.. thats too deep!
Seriously though, Dan has the right idea here!

I'll say that, this is my first vehicle I have ever painted with Rustoleum. Yes, there are flaws, and blems that I need to touch up. But, it is a 10 footer. I have to do the final wet sand with 1,000 grit, and then polish it up. I have done test spots of polishing, and I am happy with the results thus far (very smooth paint!). Tricks I learned for next time, remove anything that is screwed down. This includes tail lights, headlights, door handles, trim, etc.. Otherwise, the tape might catch the paint when pulling off and then it needs touch up! Dont ask how I learned that.... LOL

Are we feeling self concious? Not ignoring you, but waiting to see the finished product. I haven't seen anything other than your original post to comment on.
I was just saying No ooooohs or ahhhhs to sneak preview day
When it stops raining, I'll throw some more pics up!

That looks like a digital camera snap of a pic on a computer monitor screen. Why don't you get something like Irfanview and do a screen capture, trim, and edit then load it into your design prgram? If thats too much for you, what is the link to the image?

Excuse you Pcrat.. I take EXTREME offense to the term "Jap Crap." This cutter was made in CHINA.. there is a world of difference between the 2 countries, but still, if your going to be racist, do it on someone elses time!!

Hey HiDef, yep I was using a heat gun!
-
Maybe thats what happened to me Scott, I have the double cut going on as well. I'll look into it.. thanks!

I tried Hexis vinyl on the truck........ too many wrinkles, tears, stretch, and other blems. So, I want my truck black bottom and white topped. The decals I plan on laying on the white bits are going to be black to contrast. So, yes I am laying paint down. Good old fashioned Rustoleum oil based paint..

Has anyone taken the time to read about this? I have, and I decided to do my truck! So far with coat #2 on, everything looks very promising at this point!

Hey Scott, how did you discover the design was doubled up?
-
That would be helpful. I can get a halfway good trace in VinylMaster, but the specks and such are throwing the program for a loop.
-
Yep, sounds familiar...... try reinstalling the software. That would be my best guess! I moved on from SBE to VinylMaster. At least with other programs, there will be updates and continued improvements.

80 + shipping?
-
Hey ya'll, I am bagging putting this on my truck since I cant get it to lay worth a lick (newbie error). I paid $258 for 35' 60" width for this stuff. There is approx. 15' left in about 3-4' chunks. Just trying to salvage a little bit of $. How about $100 + shipping?

Can you get any better pics of the original? Clean (if possible) the original?
