    Craft Robo Wrap

Thanx guys! The great thing about this is..you really do not need any talent to make a wrap. You can take pre-existing images like a picture or image from the net, print it out on printable inkjet vinyl and wrap just about anything! Im going to ge tthe part number from OOC and see if i can wrap something else. Ill post an update and wrap something simple.

thinking about purchasing.. need help.. advice

There is no difference as far as cutting quality other than the laser eye feature of the LP. Again, if you feel you need it, then that's the one for you. Remeber..*Bells and Whistles*....

Dave, Something i have learned in the 2 weeks that i have joined this awesome forum is that all three of the value cutters work great. Laserpoint is a cool feature, but you can actually manually create a contour around an image either by your desired vector program or plugin program or by hand cutting a contour with a pair of scissors. Either way, it can be done. I do believe now that they all have direct USB plugs so converters are not needed. They all work with Vista. As far as Signblazer, DL their trial version and try it out and see if you like it. Again, all three are good cutters. There would not be a forum this big if they all were junk. If you feel you do not need all the bells and whistles, the MH or the Pcut will do it's job with no problems. Otherwise, welcome to the forum and good luck on your search.

The way i see it...i try to have an "Image" of my look/business. So, with that being said, my business cards back and front match my website to keep the look and feel of my image consistent. Here is a Screeny of my site. It does wonders when im at a convention doing Demos and people recognize me when i hand out my card and connect the site to my card. I love it when they say "Oh YOU are CFX???!!!?" i chuckle.

    Longbeach NMB Show

I was at their booth....but since i am still looking at Heatpresses, i didn't feel it was right to take a sheet. They had some really good deals...like selling a Roland GX24, 3 rolls of heat transfer, and a 15x15 press for $1999. Man...now i wish i didn't leave the college i taught at for one more paycheck... I will most likely be there again tomorrow and see if the rest of the show...i had to cut it short for some work that needed to be done.

Thanks for trying to help. I did the filter>create<crop marks. It doesn't appear to be croping, just shrinking the image. I don't understand what you mean by "output". Thanks This may be a lil late...but my question is, when you say "CROP" do you mean a smaller square surrounding an object like fig 1? Or actual cropping ALL the background out of an object so it is ONLY that object? See fig 2. So, my advice, if you have Photoshop, remove all the areas you do not want using either the magic wand tool or "w" or if there are multiple elements in the background such as trees or various colors, i would use the eraser tool or (e). (this applies to both the square or the outline) Once your erasing or cropping is done, save it and open it in Illustrator. You can then, convert it to a vector by either exporting it as an EPS, or, if you want to color separate the image, use the Livetrace function. There are many, many ways to achieve a goal in Illustrator, this is just one of them. I would gladly walk you through this is you still need the help. Just PM me.
