I have a Refine 1351 and have had it for over three years now and haven't ever had this problem before. I use Illustrator CS2 with a CutStudio plugin to cut on my machine. My vinyl is loaded straight but its cutting as if it isn't. My main problem is the little circles inside the e's or other small letters. They are totally placed off to the side and in the wrong spot and I can't figure out why its doing this but I've sure wasted a whole lot of vinyl today. At first I just thought I needed to get my vinyl straight, but it is straight and still doing the same thing every single time! HELP! Any ideas or suggestions? I would try cutting from a different program to see if that works, but its been so long I don't even know what software came with my machine (did any?), I can't find anything else on my computer and I wouldn't even know how to import my file from Illustrator anyhow. Any takers on this problem for me??

I have a Refine MH1351 and use the program CutStudio with my machine. I have a problem (have always had this problem but have not needed it fixed until today...right now!) So, the program thinks my width is my length and my length is my width. So, when I set my size on CutStudio, the LONGEST it will let me cut is 47.05 inches and the widest it will let me cut is whatever I want which is backwards! It hasn't really been a problem until right now when I need to cut something 54 inches long. Does anyone out there know how to fix this problem? I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. (I'm not a computer savvy person either so I might need a little 'step by step' explanation) THANKS in advance! Tara

I have four pinch rollers and have them equally spaced along my vinyl. The outside ones are about two inches in from the edge of the vinyl. Should they be on the edge?

I'm not sure if that is the problem, but I'm hoping someone can help me fix this issue I'm having. I have a Refine MH1351 and am cutting a whole bunch of Calendars sized 14x17. Everything goes great until the very last HUGE final box around the whole thing...and it's like everything has shifted and so my border is warped. But everything INSIDE the border is fine and perfect, so I can't figure this out. I keep trying to make extra sure my vinyl is loaded straight and it seems like it is feeding smooth and straight until that last final box at the end! What am I doing wrong?

My name is Tara and I've actually had my plotter for just over a year and have visited this site occasionally and learned lots from all of you which has been quite valuable! I just moved to New Mexico four days ago and have already had all sorts of problems getting the normal supplies I like to use! UGH! So, this will be a great adventure!
