I was just making "any" minor node edit that allowed this to be outlined (on my machine anyways)

I moved a couple nodes where points were very close and it worked. I don't know if moving them or just doing node edet corrected. here's what I got flamed-O.SBD flamed-O.SBD

Jenny, Did you have trouble witht he one I posted? Had a lot of nodes but, looked fairly clean to me.

Make 2 small squares (e.g. 1") in a different color and place them just above each top corner your image. Then select this color with each of the other colors as you cut. There are a couple videos here to sho you how to line them up after you cut & weed.

I only use 651 and am set at 120 down and 50 speed. I used to have lots of problems weeding until I got blade adjused (per the Blade adj. instructions here in the forum) and THEN went up from 75 to 120. Now cutting is much cleaner and I don't get frustrated weeding (60 blade at .25 also) Regis

I always try to use the text in SBE (or whatever s/w you will actually cut from) if possible.

Welcome Becky. There are a lot of good and helpfull folk here. And a pleasant place to read and make a few friends. Regis .... Wayyy up north in the panhandle

If I create something completely in Corel, I can get it to cut properly in SB Elements. BUT, if I import a jpeg into Corel I can not get it to cut in SBE. I copy/paste, or save as CMX, or .EPS or .AI and get basically the same problem. If I mix imported image and add text (conv>curves), only the created text will cut. Sometimes I see image in preview and sometimes not. Sometimes I get nothing on screen after import. Anything I creat in SBE or Corel works fine as long as I'm not tryine to add bitmap/jpeg. What am I missing??? Thanks Regis

Welcome....seems like "Five Forks Trickum" is in your neighborhood... No?

Welcome back online. Moves are tough. Now that mirror idea is pretty kool. Are you making antique reproduction furniture or mirrors or?

Make your block. Change color and write text. Place text where you want it on the block. Select text and block then: Arrange:Weld:Punch. Letters will be cut out of block

Welcome Richard. Yep, serial is the painless way.

I have been using R-Tape Conform but have some difficulty with Oracal 810 stencil. If I put stencil on painted wall (with even very minor texture), the tac on R-Tape is too strong. Does anyone know of an application tape with lower tac than R-Tape? Thanks, Regis
-
Thanks darkdan, that's great. I did not know about these at all and will have to try some of the 4050. Regis
-
Oracal 810 is stencil for curving surfaces like cars. Regis
-
4075 RLA is what I have and use for most everything I don't know anything about the 4050? I also have some of the R-Tape Clear Conform for layering but, it is much TOO high tac.

Alumalite Sign Pricing
RegisG replied to stormy's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
thesignexpert.com says $365 but, doesn't include the posts (that's for 2 sided .040 aluminum which cost close to same I think). I wouldn't do it for less, especially with the posts Regis -
We are sooooo widely spread out it is difficult...unless ya'll come here to the beach. BUT, what about 6, or 10, or 15 centers around the country/world and having live video/audio between us all..... Have the same background banner at each hosting location Just a thought

I didn't ask for that but, thank you. That is so nice that I would even make one to give away. Regis
