Maybe this will help. I don't have time today to finish but, I would re-create the words that are washed (rather than try to fix). A lot of nodes but, if you just need to cut one, it may be fine. chef-1.eps chef-1.eps

I would simply cut the Yellow, black, & white (with index marks). Then layer them and apply to red in the size that you want.. Is that in Greensburg? ....I'm from Irwin....long long ago
-
Then (if I understand you right) select both the top and bottom colors; Arrange, Weld, & Punch Thru. That will leave a cutout of whatever the top color is. If this isn't what you mean, post picture to help explain your question.

Sounds like you just want to layer 2 colors and there are a few video clips here (probably in instruction section). But, you simply make 2 small squares in 3rd color (above and toward each side). Use these as index to align other parts. Select this color with each other color when you cut and you will have the index/keys to align your parts. Regis

I agree with Duke. Fancy writing is fine for name/words but, phone number MUST be clearly readable.

How to use a cutter when computer is in another room
RegisG replied to TLE's topic in General discussion
Cutter does not need to be plugged in all the time while you are creating designs BUT. I don't think any computer cables are intended to constantly be connected/disconnected. Sounds like you have 2 computers soo, you can network them togather. Then you could leave one (e.g. laptop) connected to cutter and simply have a shared drive on the one in your house. If you are going to do design work on another pc, it does not take much of a pc to actually drive a cutter, pretty bare bones inexpensive. I occasionally sit in living room with my wife watching game and working on my laptop. Then I copy files to main computer via our inhouse network. just a thought- Regis -
Pretty easy to make "exactly" what you want in almost any graphic sofrware (even SBE). If you can't then more description is needed for one of us to make it.

Terry, I have very much the same, H&R with bull barrel. But, only 3-9 scope with 6" eye releif. The extra eye releif is really nice. One of these days, I need to make a trip to western Ok. and help save some cattle from praire dogs.

I would simply redraw it and re-type the words. It would be nice to know the font they used but, you can easily find something close. If you can't. let me know and I'll make one. Regis

Yep, amazing, unless they are willing to learn (without the "woah-is-me, nobody told me I had to actually learn something and work at it") One wise lady ! Kind of makes up for the winers we occasionally hear from. Regis

Lots of people come on here with simple > complex problems. They ask questions get answers. They call tech support and perhaps don't hear back fast enough. Some get going faster than others and some simply have no clue of how to configure because they only know "automatic". They ALL get help and are encouraged. But, after reading all this, with the display of attitude, one thing he/she won't need to worry about is, repeat customers. There simply won't be any. Regis

Do cutters or blades "break-in" and work better?
RegisG posted a topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
I've had my PCut 3-4 months now. The 60 degree blade I'm using is over a month old (I don't cut every day). I've noticed that lately everything weeds much cleaner, smoother, and overall better. I don't think I can weed any better than I could after the 1st month or so. Sooooo, my question is do these machines or blades get better after a little break-in? Does anyone else notice change? Curious but, pleased all is better... Thanks, Regis -
Amber, I do pray and have faith in God. And indeed have been praying for you and your sister Cheyenne since I read your message. Prayers are not always answered as fast as we want or exactly like we want but, please take comfort that folks here love you enough to try. Regis Josh 1:9 Have I not comanded you, be strong and courages.

Here's one way - cut a grove in a wooden block the shape of the hole - take a peice of metal banding and fit it to the grove - Sharpen one side of the metal banding - epoxy banding into the groove in wood block You now have a custom die cutter. put some soft plastic or rubber pad down with masked vinyl on it and hit the die with mallet or hand. Depends on how sharp you get the band,

Actually, we could have a presence at any sign & graphic trade show. If there is one in your city, let everyone here know a date, time, and place to meet for lunch....breakfest...or whatever. Good time for those that can attend to meet and chat in person. We certainly can come up with a sign for the meeting place! Regis

I would not usew the word "cheap" describing someone elses product. Just say that your's are 6 year vinyl and not subject to rapid fading. Better to boost your's and not degrade theirs. my 2c Regis
