im looking to make text into curved instead of straight accross i have a volleyball and want to put persons name below ball on a curve and team name above the ball on a curve but dont know how to get text to follow the "outline" of the ball any suggestions?

i have been trying to cut picts (ie detroit tiger logo checkered flags ford emblem chevy emblem) and i am getting the pict from clip art when i copy the images and paste into inkscape it shows the image then i export to sign cut all that shows up in sign cut is a black box where image should be NOW WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?

i am also trying to cut out some checkered flags in inkscape i am getting them from clipart and copying them into inkscape and exporting to signcut and all that shows up in sign cut is a black box with no flags what else am i doing wrong ?

im new to this deal i am trying to cut decals for a racecar and i want the #53 to be in chrome with black 1/2" outline all the way around it i cant figure it out how to get it to happen i tried to cut the #53 out on black then cut the #53 out in chrome smaller But that didnt work like i stated before i am new to this can someone please help thanks mike
