You can try this one too... you'll have to adjust the gradients to be smooth, but it looks like it vectored pretty well. MoonLogo_copy.eps

I use SignCut... and sometimes when my cutter gets all crazy like that I just unplug the USB and shut the cutter off to reboot it... What file type are you trying to cut (other than the SignCut logo)?

Ryonet across the river in Vancouver WA has training on screen printing once a month... that could help for your t-shirts if that's how you're doing them.

Okay, I played with it a bit - put the "G" in front of the hand. Is this like what you want? Tazz EPS.eps -

Where to buy shirt blanks?
plbrooks replied to PointOfExpression's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Gildan is good, Jerzees is okay... I prefer the Port & Company PC61 from Sanmar - it's 100% preshrunk cotton, holds its color well, and prints great. Just my $0.02... -
Grabbed them - thanks!! :-)

Sanmar is great.... it doesn't take long to get your resale cert if you have a business license. Otherwise JoAnn's or Michael's is probably your best best for something cheap and readily available. -
I have been asked to cut and install decals for two church vans - two decals on each van. One van needs to have them on sign board to slip into existing frames on the sides of the van. Dimensions of the decals are 28" wide, 18.5" tall, and they'll all be the same color vinyl. We've also been asked to remove some existing lettering on the back of one of the vans. I'm confused about how to price it - the gal who did it before did just one van and only charged $40 to cut, prep, and install. What's a good formula for pricing it all and being able to make a profit on it? Thank you very much for your insights!!

Nice work!!

Hello everyone! A while back when I was looking at everyone's wonderful work, I saw a pink sticker that said something about tailgating and reloading and had a graphic of a woman's hand with a pistol in it. Does anyone remember that graphic/have that graphic/would be willing to share it or put me in touch with the gal who did it? I'd love to have that on my truck... > Thanks much!!

What kind of invoicing software do you use?

I use Quickbooks. -
I have a standard price list that I use so I can't really help you with cost per shirt... but I can tell you that the number of screens a quart of emulsion will produce depends on how well you do at coating them, how well they dry before you burn them and rinse them out, and how they hold up during the printing process. I live in an area where the humidity is high, so we have to let our screens dry for at least 2 days with a dehumidifier running before we even think about burning them. If they're not dry enough when you burn them, you can blow them out during the rinsing process. And the number of shirts per quart of ink will depend, too - depends on how many colors you use in your designs, how large the designs are, and how large that color is on the design. I have some ink that we bought when we first got our press that we've only used a couple of times, and I've had to order another gallon of white ink already (and we've been printing just about a year). A good screen printing resource is Ryonet - they've got lots of good information on their website. It's www.silkscreeningsupplies.com if you want to check it out. Have fun!

what company has the best bulk rate?
plbrooks replied to luis gutierrez's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
SA Graphix, you can ask for case pricing from Sanmar - my volume isn't like some but I've been ordering consistently... with case pricing it applies to everything they offer. I like Sanmar and Alpha - both are within an hour's drive of my house for emergency pickups if necessary. I haven't tried Imprints yet, but will be setting that up soon. Just my $0.02...
