My Descine Modern Logo w/ Oracal 8500 Transparent Vinyl
lowone replied to DescineModern's topic in Show your work
I have a P-cut and I use a 45 degree blade and 100 pressure with 651/631. Blade depth is also critical. Usually just about a half a credit card thickness is a good starting point. Just play around with the depth pressure settings and get a system down. Nice looking font by the way. -
This was the first thing I did when I got my cutter

Nice looking work, especially right out of the gate. -
Welcome Brian, What you are gonna want to do is save the EPS files. Then you want to import them into signblazer. That is it.

I'll give you guys credit, I could never paint that straight. True talent.

Now that is a pretty sweet deal

What brand was the vinyl? I personally prefer Oracle since I have had pretty good luck with it so far.

I have not tried to remove vinyl from a banner before, but I was thinning maybe a very SLOW pull. You might try rubbing some mineral spirits under the letters as you go to hep break the bond. I would color test any liquid on the back somewhere inconspicuous. Just a thought Jason

The rock looks good. I have been wanting to play around with blasting but haven't had the time to yet. I really like the dog/cat concept very original. Also I would consider this rock art. Its the composition of all the elements that is YOURS. The cutter/blaster are your tools. So nice job

Looks good jenny. I had a customer change his mind on his lettering about 8 times ending up with my original design Most bigger companies would charge more for all the revisions alone. As for as $85 being "too much" just tell them to seel a few more "Tri Tip" dinners to make up the difference Jason

VERY very nice core. Colors really pop.

I think $2 is very reasonable, especially considering the fact you get to design and install on the clock They look good.
