i went to oracal to check them, they only says about the duration outdoor/indoor of their vinyl, but not how long they will last without using them. i want to buy by rolls all the colors, but some colors are more "rare" to use, if they dont last long, the buying a roll would be a waste.

could you recommend me one adhesive remover? im about to purchase some vinyl and transfer (around $400) from uscutter so i will just get the adhesive remover too.

i had that problem at first, but i had it connected via usb, after i installed a serial pci card in my pc, i havent had MUCH of that problem, sometimes the diagonals i get them wavy but its still good until you look at it very close.

Hello, Anyone used LG vinyl? i use oracal and im pleased with it, sometimes i feel it hard to remove the vinyl i dont need from a decal (compared to the greenstar) and i ask about LG because in my city there is a place where they sell vinyl but only LG brand, and they are priced $93 for any color, in US cutter its 82.29 for 631 and 86.99 for 651 and to that i need to add $10 since i need other colors than white and black (like red one, it cost me $10 more) plus the $10 for the shipping. LG would cost me $93 total for a 24x50yrd Oracal 631 would cost me $102.29 for a 24x50yrd Oracal 651 would cost me $106.99 for a 24x50 yrd is the LG good enough or should i keep using the oracal? i still have white and black color, but everything else i have around 3 yards left (thats around 8 colors)

i have 651 white on my car, wanted to remove it and the glue stays there also i put a decal that i want to remove from the gas cover but since it has line about 1mm, i couldnt peel if ot with my nails so i left it there U_U

someone here shared a file that says "no body cares about your stick figure family" with a chainsaw guy behind them and i wanted to sell them where i live, is it a copyrighted material or its free to make/sell? if its copyrighted material, anyone knows who made it? Thanks. attached the image

graphic designer here, u should check their company and what they do, if they will use ur logo for one of their products u should ask for a % instead, this wont give u a lot of money in 1 blow, but it will keep the money coming and in the long it will give u more money, if they using ur logo and modifying it a little to use as their logo or something similar, a single price should do, i should charge what u think ur work is worth, how long it took for u to make it, how hard it was for u to think of it and if u think they will have more bussiness with u, then the price should be decent, that way they will come back if they need something else, if not, then the price should be high. there is a reason why they came to u or they would just ask any graphic designer to make them one like that.

what i mean is when you sell a decal lets say 2"x2" you charge..... $1.00 for a single color, how do you calculate how much to charge if you need to use 2 color or 3 in the same size?

i have cut it with my cutter pulling it form the roll fine, it has those 2 rollers and make it easy to pull unless i put the 1100' roll kraft paper lol

when i applied tape to my vinyl, i used a table that i had laying down, put it in middle of the take and put it in the middle of the vinyl, then worked my way to the sides (kinda like when applying the large vinyl yo a car) and i didnt had any wrinkle that way

when you say out a drop of 3 in 1 in the holder, u mean where the blade goes in?

i need help here, my cutter its leaving A LOT pointy cuts out and sometimes it lift a little vinyl, i changed blade already (my third blade now) and added oil too, pressure was 2g and i changed it back to 25g, speed is 300, what could leave those pointy like spikes on the vinyl? i have cut this dragon before and it cut fine so i know its not the eps i dont know what else i can do =\ blade is 45 grade attached is a photo of the vinyl with those pointy cuts (i dont know how to say it in english, sorry)

anyone else with any idea what could be the problem? as how it is now, the cutter is useless now i think the blade is not spinning and thats why its making those cuts, i added oil already with no luck

i pulled in a lot more the blade, now when its cutting, i can hear the holder hit the machine every time it goes down, is this normal? at least it cut a lot better than before, but it still has a little of those pointy cuts going out EDIT: nvm, its too short to cut the vinyl, i need to pull it our a little more =\

nop, not working, speed at 100 (increments of 100 up to 800) and 90g pressure, it was cutting fine before

is it hard to maintain a domain? i have used flash to make the front of a webpage at school, but only did that and presented it, never uploaded or anything like that and it was very basic. i wanna make business cards too, but i need the name and logo for it too , i guess i will get graphics insight, i like how it sounds :>

but those names are taken because someone registered the domain only, that desnt mean they own a trademark of that name, only domain in internet. i will think of a name first then maybe put up a website later, i live in mexico and people dont buy that much from webpages (at least in my city). i will see what name i will use first, and thanks for those names, i will read them many times and think if one of those will be good or give me an idea of something

how do you ship decals? i would think buying those tubes and ship them in there, but when the decal is not that big, lets say 6"x6"?

i bought a pack of 25 envelopes of 9x12" (i wanted 10x13" but was sold out) and using a cardboard from the boxes i get (i buy A LOT online) and that i have stored (because of warranty), i will wait 1 week more and if i dont get any bad feedback about them being bend or something, then i will think they arrived fine =D thanks for the tips guys

also at 23"x25" there really arent small cuts, were easy to weed (removing the vinyl) but had to split the vinyl while weeding cuz they are all together

yesterday i just cleaned an image that took me like 4 hrs to clean after using the quicktrace, the image is very big (26x29") and there were LOTS of nodes, i finished cleaning it today and i can say i got +1 in my ability to vector (my wrist can tell) if there were a customer that wants to vector an image like this, i wouldnt know how much to charge to vectorize it and weed it. how do you guys weed something bit and that has all vinyl lines that needs to be removed connected between them? i had to do it by parts tearing apart some vinyl while removing them. here is the image now the hard part for me will be to place the app tape >.< i always mess it with it.
