Cudos to UScutter....ANOTHER great customer service story!
CyberSultan replied to tlzimmerman's topic in General discussion
Here's still hoping they will start offering Thermoflex. -
Hola, me llamo Cyber. Ok, that's as much spanish as I know.
-
I went to their website and emailed them through their "Contact Us" requesting a sample of this tape. I got an email shortly after from one of their sales reps indicating that they would be happy to send that out to me.
-
I also requested and received a sample roll of HT55 tape from Oracal recently.

That diagonal "line of death" on my Copam went away after I switched to FlexiStarter. -
There is nothing in that link that I see that would cause an auto-download of something. Did you click on any ads on the site?

Fibron is a relabeled name for Thermoflex Plus.

Finally I have my Heat Press Vinyl... Now.... Um, How do I cut this stuff?
CyberSultan replied to cherrybomb's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
You cut on the matte finish side. Make sure you cut the image mirrored. If you don't, you'll waste a lot of vinyl. Once you weed the design, you will flip it over so that the matte finish side is down on the garment when you press. The matte finish side has the adhesive on it that will adhere to the garment when pressed. -
Thanks for the post. Adding this to my list of vector resource sites.

What cutting software are you using? -
I finally did some cutting worth posting about!

Thanks for sharing your successes! It's great when everything comes together like that. -
How many of you have the Copam CP 2500?
CyberSultan replied to grafficfx's topic in Pre-sale questions
I have one. It's a great machine! Very well built, cuts and tracks really well, and is fairly quiet. -
How big do they want the company logo to be?
-
I own a Copam and my experience is it tracks those long lengths just fine. For some added features, I will eventually be getting a Graphtec as a second machine.
-
So true. Have only seen it in heat press vinyl, not regular vinyl. Hopefully someone will have a source for that if the OP is looking for that instead.
-
Imprintables Warehouse has digital Camoflauge (Spectra Patterns).
-
With my Copam, I cut Siser at the lowest pressure setting (50). In fact, none of the heat press vinyl or regular vinyl I use ever requires me to change the pressure setting from the lowest setting to get great cuts. The only thing I adjust is the blade depth.
-
It looks very sharp. What vinyl are you using?
-
Here is the second (it wouldn't let me post them together due to size):

Here is the first one: ProPower-Front.eps ProPower-Front.eps

Something like Corel, Illustrator, or Adobe Acrobat Professional can save to eps. I have not tried this, but something like this may work: http://www.pdf-convert.com/convert/PDF-to-EPS.html Looks like they offer a trial for it as well. May be a cheaper option than buying Corel or Illustrator if you are not looking to use one of those programs right now. Edit:I just put Inkscape on my work machine and it does seem to open up the PDF just fine. I did not remember it working with that program. What version of Inkscape are you using?

copam locks up my computer after finishing a cut
CyberSultan replied to twicoin's topic in Copam Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I don't know how many are cutting directly from Corel as you are. You may want to cut from the software you received with the cutter and see if you continue to run into problems.
