Does anyone have any scallops, not the sea food or the potatoes, but the designs on 1950's hot rods & race cars. Any help here would be great, thanks Tom

Hi All, Does anyone have a graphic that looks like a big blob of paint that hit a flat surface. I have some one that wants some vinyl cut to look like a paint splatter. Thanks Tom

I don't even know what a bitmap image is, but I have one that I would like to use to cut some vinyl. The cutter does not like the idea, what do I need to do, to make the cutter happy? I'm using SBE Tom

Kenya That's the one. Thank you, I'll be able to give it a try in a couple of hours. Thanks again, Tom

PCUT, SignBlazer and USB problem....
xhydro replied to demondecals's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
I gave up on the the USB port, and now use serial port and it seems to work. You can add a serial port to many computers via a PCI card, I got one at Frys for $20. Tom -
I am having a problem, while cutting longer vinyl cuts, my cutter stops and the panel on the cutter says, waiting. The SBE program is then not responding. In fact the only way out is to do a hard shutdown on the computer by using the on/off on the computer. In short it is locking up the computer. Anyone else have this happen?Tom
-
OK, got a new cable, checked the port on the computer, & the cutter to be sure they were the same. This time when I hit cut tile, nothing happened except for locking up the computer as SBE was non responsive. I tried to cancel the cut but again no responce, had to dump the computer with the on/off. Tom

Yes using USB cable thats my only choice with this computer. Tom

cutter quit & now windows won't recognize it

I don't know whats up with the cutter or the program (SBE) There I was cutting vinyl when the vinyl went sideways and the cutter procceded to work a hole in the vinyl along with a nice wad mess. Well I got that cleaned up and tried to go back to work. The tile would not cut and the program would not respond, everything just locked up. I had to do a manual shutdown on the computer. Did a restart on the computer now the computer won't recognize the cutter. Checked port setting on the computer & nothing shows up for the cutter. I tried reloading the SBE program & still have the same problem. The cutter shows up as a unknown device, the recommendation; try reconnecting the device, if windows still does not recognize it try replacing the device. I looked over the cutter; and the cutter head moves nice and smooth to the left but is jerky when moving to the right. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything but I thought I would toss that in the mix. Tom -

cutting small images

What would be a good speed, pressure, blade for 1/4" font? I either pulling out the letters with the cutter or they don't cut clean. Tom -
Ken Did any blades with smaller offset ever show up? I need to cut very small letters for RC boats and am having a rough time. Maybe my cutter setup could be better, where should I start, speed, pressure? I'm cutting 1/4" letters. Tom

Maybe this has happened to others, if so "HELP" Each time I shut down and restart my computer, my USB COMM PORT changes. IE, USB COMM5, to USB COMM6, to USB COMM3. The only way I can use my cutter is to reload my SBE program and change the port. Thanks for any help, Tom
