  2. Make sure that after you vectorize the image, that you delete the raster photo, and not the vector.

You can also try and delete your vector and just save the selection.

lol im close to giving up. thats what im doing and still nothing  ;D

  3. lol really guys it's simple to put on, make sure vehicle is CLEAN, spray some water on the vehicle, spray some water on the vinyl after you peel the backing.  Place the vinyl on the vehicle, adjust it to where it is straight, squeegee it, then I spray the transfer tape, rub it down with my hand real good, walk away for a couple minutes until the transfer tape dries and it peels off like butter.

i done the van as a dry application, will defo do it wet next time, lol

  4. did you have them all on one piece of transfer tape?

    I like it!!!!!!!

yeah all on one bit of transfer paper, easier to apply. My other love is photography so when i get time i like to try and get the best pic i can so i can use it on my website.

Thanks for the comments guys on the stickers and my car

  5. This is true guys normal vinyl is fine, my dad has had his boat for 15 years and although the colour has faded slightly (not not noticably) cos of sun and water spash i can honestly say it stil looks great and is holding on as good as the day they put it on. It was not made by me but it was made by someone i know so i asked them what vinyl they used and they said any normal good quality vinyl is fine as its always above the water line and the spray is no different to a sign being rained on and it is usually only spots of water that reaches a name plate.

I cant vouch for every vinyl ever made but oracal 851 is deffo good enough to withstand the elelments needed for a boat and will probably last a lifetime.

SO? what you waiting for.................................go make so money guys and good luck

  6. Doesnt really matter if in jpeg or gif, you can even save it as a PNG and this will make the background (actually th parts that has no color) transparent.

    Joe

that goes for gif files too, never used png (best try it really)
