I did a static line jump with my brother in-law, bailed out, the chute opened and there was what they call "a line over". Basically, one of the lines was over top of the chute causing it to wrap up and not open correctly. It started me spinning. I had to use the cut away to get rid of that chute and pull the emergency chute. When that opened that was the prettiest color red I've ever saw, really vivid. Well I missed the landing zone and was heading for the woods. They look really fluffy from up there. Saw a clearing and went for that. Well, didn't make the clearing. Landed in the trees. It's not like the movies. You don't just drop down and hang there, the chute stayed over the top of the trees. The wind picked up the chute and dragged me through the woods until it snagged. The instructor told us if we get hung up somewhere not to get out of the harness, wait for help. So, I waited. Got my cigarettes out of my back pocket, barely manged to get my lighter out. Go to light up and drop the lighter, 30 feet. Boy was I pissed!! I was scratched up and bruised. No major damage, except I broke a tooth eating lunch!! My in-laws still make fun of the event. They even made up a t-shirt for me. They think they're funny. If it hadn't been for the instructor and the training I don't know that I'd be here. Great instruction and training (7 hrs.) then you jump. This was in California, Maryland. I can't think of the name jump school, but these people stopped everything, other jumpers, all other flights and training to come look for me. The pilot of the plane helped the ground crew find me. That was the first time they ever had that happen there. If I decided to do it again, I'd do it from a higher altitude, more time to make corrections. 1500 Ft. doesn't give you much time for quick decisions.

Can Somebody Give Me Step By Step Procedure For Wall Vinyl
Mr Peabody replied to Kwelp68's topic in General Help
Roll it - Make sure the graphics (vinyl) is on the outside of the roll. This will help eliminate the vinyl from bucking. -
Do you get in the shower with the banner or without??

Z - You're welcome.

Hi everyone, I have some friends who are State's Attorneys and received this last night and thought this might help someone from getting taken. You might want to share this with your friends and family. If you know of any elderly folks, you might want to tell them about it if they don't have email. A copy of the email I received is below, if you want to copy and paste so you can email it feel free. Peabody Jury Duty Scam DO NOT DELETE WITHOUT READING ! Pass this on. This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo; your identity was just stolen. The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois , and Colorado . This (swindle) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud. Check it out here: http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june06/jury_scams060206.htm http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june06/jury_scams060206.htm http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june06/jury_scams060206.htm And here: http://www.snopes..com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp http://www.snopes..com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp http://www.snopes..com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp
