What kind of transfer tape for RTA decals??

Roll the decal to the outside, so the decal doesn't buckle. For smaller one's that you can fit into and envelope, the Scotch Tape people make a scotch tape that is removable - Not expensive. I've used that to tape the corners of the app tape to keep them from curling - Included a note to remove the tape in the corners.

    DO ANYBODY HAVE...

Really nice work I'm glad they turned out & glad i could help.
  9. For small rolls 15" I put it between the guides, pull some out, line it up, clap it down and roll out about 3' or until it touches the floor before I cut anything. I do the same for 24" rolls. - These cutters are not made to "pull" the weight of the vinyl roll.

I use Corel x4 - Yes there is a way - Mirror objects, that's why I only did one. they may need some clean up. I don't know what software you're using so I can't tell you specifically how to flip it. You might want to look at Inkscape - Free - there are some tutorials and vids on here to help.

    how to do

You guys are welcome, it's good for multi-lines of text, single lines or just centering the graphic - It's the mechanical designer in me, always lookin for the simple way to get r done. Besides I'm lazy Glad it helps out.

    how to do

You might want to try doing this, use registration marks to line things up. Not the typical reference to "registration marks" (alignment lines would be a better description), but you get the idea. When you tape the graphics up use your level or square. Use the cutter to your advantage. When you squeegee the text on, just don't apply a lot of pressure to the alignment lines. After the install just peal them away, done.

    HP DesignJet

Poppie, I called HP support a while ago, I was looking for samples of their banner material to test. I actually found someone who was pretty helpful. I was asking him about converting my Designjet 800ps to uv inks. he said that there isn't any way to do this on my model, at least. He said that the inks would ruin the print heads. Which is probably true. So I abandoned the idea. I can't afford to replace or screw up this plotter ($$$$). They were pretty helpful though, try giving them a call, yours might be different. He did make a few suggestions that have improved the performance and color quality. Peabody Still can't get anyone to send me samples of HP banner materials though.
