  1. will you be using it for more then one piece of equipment? I used contact paper ( the stuff you get at the hardware store) it is cheap and holds up well for 1 or 2 uses. Or if you want to be more percise just but some cheap vinyl and cut it from that. the paint mask stuff is not cheap the last i looked so i just use the vinyl trick. just add some heat when you remove it and it comes off fine.

  2. There are always people here asking what to charge for a sign, and i can say i am one of them. Well one day i was searching the web for sign stuff and came across just the thing.

    SignCraft Pricing guide http://www.signcraft.com/home.aspx

It is a calculator to help with some of it, sure you need a subscription for it but there is a week free trial. They have a magazine that comes out 6 times a year and all my pocket gets hit for is 4 dollars a month well worth it to me. I was not sure i needed the magazine subscription but it is worth every penny to me.

Hope this post helps people out and no i am not getting paid to advertize this magazine. I am just a little ole sign shop trying to get by in this struggling economy.

  3. I have a job to do and cant find a clean eps of the Federated sign. I was talking with a guy at the office and he was helping but had a death in the family so he is not back to work yet. and the customer needs this sign done. Any help at all would be great. Any white in the image can be removed. Was hoping to lay down the yellow / orange then lay the blue over the top and use the white of the sign for all the open areas. Hope i said that plain enough it is late. this looks ok at a small size but when i go up to 30" it is rough. Thank you in advanced.

Or even if someone has the logo stashed in some old file.

  4. i bought some stuff from www.Bren.org it is a bit costly but works great. here is what i got:

    Ultra-Cut IITM -

Economical, Reusable, General Purpose Stencil Material. Clay coated polyethylene bonded to our ultra-removable/repositionable, light tack adhesive and applied to a heavy backing. This 8.5 mil, semi-rigid plastic conforms easily to curved or irregular surfaces, lightly holds itself in place and is impervious to inks, paints or stains. Ultra-Cut Stencils easily outlast traditional stencil board by many times. The surface coating prevents runs and smears common with most plastic stencils while the adhesive contact produces extremely high quality stencil images. Fully recyclable, safe and non-toxic.

not sure if USC has anything on this line wish they did
