Why, SignBlazer does most everything you would want and it's free. Jay Completely true. I have access to just about any software I want, but I still choose to use SignBlazer all of the time. 2nd that. I tried the signcut pro that looks like people love and tossed it QUICK. Inkscape & SB together are the best.

I've got a buddy with an 871. I'm going to try to get up with him this evening and play with cutter his to see what it does.

I cut on espeed +5 with no problem (can see jagged edge on angles with a magnifying glass). The further away from +5 (up or down) it became more visible. This may just be something that all of the "cheap" refines do?? I tried the rockstar logo of yours 1st and it cut just like it. Cleaned up the nodes and it cut fine. Adjusted espeed and cut the cleaned up file again a few times and it got worse the further away from +5 I got.

Mader & A&P, I've said this a couple times and looks like nobody has tried it. My MH721 will do the same thing as yours when I adjust the espeed setting. Not the speed, but the espeed under setup. Have either of you tried this??;D

I would add some slight gaps between the flags and the wheel so the other parts all lift out together. It looks like you have all the squares in the flag joined already, is that how it cuts?

Yeah, i seperated my price for here but I would just tell the customer total price installed like you. And if you're happy with what you charge then that works for you and i'm happy too. I just kinda read your post as "how dare they charge those prices". But I understand where you're coming from. And I 2nd ya on the charity work, just gotta watch some of them cause once you start they expect the world on a minutes notice.

There ARE helpful people here and they don't mind helping out those that are trying. But the "THANKS FOR NOTHING" comment just wasn't the right thing to say when you're asking people to help you.

everything you say is totally logical and makes perfect sense. But there are too many on here who like the idea of $40-$50 an hour for easy money. I'm confused banner. are you saying that your experience and time is not WORTH $50/hour??? For something like this I would charge $50 + another $20 to install it. With your experience banner, you should be charging at LEAST $50 for your time.

I'm still curious if Mader tried changing the espeed setting. I have a 721 and was able to make it cut jagged like that by changing the espeed setting in setup. Still don't have a clue what it's for. Did a search on here and found where others had asked what it was and ken told them he didn't know.

the reason the lubrication idea was shot down was due to the fact that the plotter(pen) is doing the same thing. IF it was only the blade doing it, I would be right there with ya

As far as the wall words, I would make some samples and check around with some of the home furnishing stores that have the fake "room" displays. See if they would trade with you. They get free wall decorations and you get your advertising pictures. May pick up some paying sign business in the process
