I also have the ricoh gel ink system and absolutely LOVE it. For tshirts, I'd only use sublimation if they want full color, a photo, or something sooooo detailed that I couldn't be bothered weeding. ALso - for sublimation, the tees have to be white/gray/very very light. And polyester. I usually keep my sublimation items to ceramic tile, stainless mugs, neoprene, mousepads, etc. I find a market for both types of systems. If anyone wants a sample of something sublimated, let me know.-Lisa

Sublimation Ink vs. Pigment Ink
FutureSgtsWife replied to 99v8miata's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
I have a sublimation system... but I use the gel-based inks. I like being able to press onto ceramic tile, neoprene, metal, etc... but sometimes the substrates are hard to find. -

Yep - that would kill me before I had a chance to strip naked.... Hope you're feeling better. Do remember that each time you're stung, the reaction will get worse. So always be aware.

ok - I truly must be a girly girl.... I would FREAK OUT if there was a bat in my house. I don't even like bugs/spiders. I'd be demanding that Erik shoot it, taser it, or something....

I also use the cutting mat for the cricut... works well - I use it when I cut vellum or cardstock

A WORD OF APPRECIATION OUT TO BANNERJOHN

I whole-heartedly agree!!! ;D  -
My daughter had her dance nationals in Virginia Beach in July. Most of the other parents use window markers... but as you can imagine, that looks horrendous when the rain comes!! I did my back window and both rear side windows - listing all the routines Britt danced in.... Here's one of the windows -- and Britt modeling her tanktop that I also made for her (which listed her routines on the back, as well)

That looks awesome! We have a 1958 Porsche that Erik is restoring (his dad was the original owner)... It's getting it's own bay in the garage - so maybe I'll throw something like that up in there. Does your brother love it??

I think I would specify that 8 feet is necessary for the door/lift to operate.....

She did great at Nationals... Two Platinums (the highest medal awarded) Seven High Golds (the 2nd highest medal awarded) Thanks for asking!!

I didn't think I had a picture of it, but I do... Most of the girls on the competition team have already put their order in for next season.... Here is the front... (which, given more than 10 minutes notice, will have rhinestones outlining the year). I'll probably move the white copy - Not 100% happy with it against the yellow http://images2c.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp5366%3B%3Enu%3D326%3A%3E2%3C6%3E232%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3B4%3B5444732%3Bnu0mrj[/img]

While I've posted much less than I would have liked to these past few months because my house/office are under extreme construction, I do want to say that the help and guidance you both have provided are beyond measure to me. And I genuinely appreciate it!! Without a doubt, I know that if I had a problem with figuring something out, you guys (and five) would always be right there with an answer. And for that, I thank you, as so many others have. --Lisa

Other places to sell stuff other then eBay and Amazon?
FutureSgtsWife replied to Rob28x's topic in General discussion
I've been selling stuff on Etsy.com (it's a marketplace for handmade items). I sell so many wedding-related shirts/personalized boyshorts --- and the feels are so much better than Ebay!! -
Wow - that's quite impressive! I have my 13 year old coming up with sayings for tshirts to sell to her friends. Actually, her birthday party next weekend is a combination "Pool Party & Make your own tshirt"...

Thanks John.... I've been busy -- but will hopefully find time tonight to bake 30 cupcakes and make her shirt for Thursday!

(One comment... and an apostrophe before the s in Barbara's) I made a cool shirt for a breast cancer walk team... of course I don't have any pics, but I'm loving the gildan woman's tshirts and the bella ones.... Damn, I wish I had more time to play!!

A good place to purchase button up baseball jerseys?
FutureSgtsWife replied to tattoo.dan's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
I just got 2 in the mail as samples.... I got them from www.blankathletics.com, but they weren't cheap... $17 each. Amazon.com sells some -- waiting for that sample, too.
