    I'm happy to report I got my USCutter MH871 today. I'm running OSX 10.6.7, illustrator CS5 (convert to eps), and SignCutPro. Straight USB with the com port driver from the sticky. I have run four different cuts with out a problem. Just thought I'd put it out there to let other new people know how it worked out for me. Thanks to all that post. It helped me make my purchase.

    Had the same problem with Illustrator CS5 crashing with the SignCutpro plugin. Removed the plugin had to convert the file to eps and open with SignCut, I don't think SignCut is up to date with CS5 on mac yet.

    I just set up my system with the same OSX and a RefineMH871 maybe I can help. I'm not using the keyspan, maybe you could try the straight usb and how I set up my system.
