i was just trying to show him what his COST would be......if he wants to do decals at COST, who are we to judge. When he folds, someone else takes his customers.

Im thinking you will probably have around $100 in materials alone, plus lets say you can cut weed and apply trans tape to 100 decals per hour..that would take you 10 hrs to do the job at lets say $45 an hour labor = $450 + $100 in materials = $550 cost......so anything over $.55 per decal is a bonus.Just my thinking, I could be wrong.

where did you find the fonts? did you buy them??

for each color press 3-4 seconds, then on last layer press for full time....usually 20-25 seconds

you get what you pay for. $200 will get a cheap press that may or may not work right, for an additional $150 or so, you can get a real nice Sunie. Just shooting it straight. www.sunie.com

yea......none of your text or graphic is over 24", so if you have atleast a 24" cutter they shouldnt tile unless you are using 15" vinyl. And I would just cut the TEAM ELF straight and apply it at the slant you want, less wasted vinyl.

what size is the banner??? while in Signblazer you can set the work area to the size of your banner and it should fit. if you are wanting to do say a 3' x 10' banner then i would make each line of text a seperate color even though you can cut it in the same color. Make sense??? That way you wont have the TILE problem. Can you post the desin so I could take a look.??

Some certain members on this forum have forgotten what its like to start in this adventure. To them I say IF YOU DONT WANT TO HELP ANYONE ....DONT!! But to apply rude and unnecessary comments under a post without helping is egotistical and plain disturbing. If your afraid of competition, take up tiddly winks. EVERYONE of US was newbies at some point, and EVERYONE of us is on a different learning curve. Some pick up things quickly and some not so quickly. To imply since a MEMBER has been on here for over a year and cant do certain things is rediculous. Keep one thing in mind, 99% of the time WE dont know who is on the other side of the computer. Not everyone has the same MENTAL capacity. Like I said, HELP DONT HELP, matters not to me...but keep your comments to yourself.

you could cut and weed the checkers then use Krylon Fusion spray bomb in desired color (check for availability first) and fade it out
