Bk, you suggest that I dont do them? Theres no time to try something else. They wanted to do it with a piece of cardborad, and then I suggested the banner material. I bet it was going to be a PITA with the cardboard.
Now Im not sure.
Mike, Im doing it for free. I got a piece of banner material for free and Im donating the vinyl lettering. This people bring me a lot of work regularly, so Im doing this as a bonus (and to get more jobs
).Banner will be 24" tall by 30" wide.
I'm not saying don't do it. I just hate to see the thing shred up. If it's a freebie go ahead and do it!

If you do make slits I would try to find someone that could reinforce those areas for you. There's going to be a lot of stress at those points more so than what those wind resistant banners are rated for. Another option maybe a mesh banner

I'm getting ready to leave work and go home. I'll check back when I get there to see where your at. I would just use the forward and reverse arrows to run the vinyl through to make sure it's straight.

What do you have the paper width set at in cutter setup?

What do you mean?
When i press the cut button the little pop up shows and then i press the "max position" button. That should move it to the max point of what your cutting. Correct? As it works with other things.

We have a similar sign here at work. I just used pinstriping tape. -
It has both connections. I've been running mine on USB for the last year without any problems.

ok but the thing is everyone says how wonderful uscutter is and I went TO the warehouse and picked it up myself!!! I am so frustrated.

Are you opening it in photshop before you take it to SBE? If so that may be your problem.
