    Couple more questions

Thanks for the replies, yet again. So, to make sure I totally understand this, to make a sticker like the two you show you cut out each of the color shapes seperate, the white background, the person and the anti sign, then stack them on top of each other and that is the finished product? So, does that give the final product a raised surgace where the black and red sit on top of the white background? Lastly, to make that into the type of sticker that sits on white paper that you rub and then peel the paper off, do you add that paper last? Hope that all makes sense. Still trying to grasp a few things on how all this goes together to make the final product and how much time it would take to make up one of those finished stickers. Thanks again.
  2. First, thanks to everyone who has helped out with suggestions and answers to this point. It helps so much. My goal is to do stickers and transfers that can either be used as a sticker on whatever or for businesses to advertise on their vehicle windows. So far it looks like the creation p-cut 24" is the way to go with signblazer software. Couple of questions: i) to import and use design ideas can I do this directly into the signblazer software or will I need something like Corel Draw as well and if so what exactly is the difference between the two and ii)in order to do multicolored designs, is it just a matter of printing off two designs, one in each color, and placing them on top of one another or is there an easier way to do it? Just not sure how to achieve, for example, a company name in one color (blue) on top of a soild white background shape (white circle). I know this is likely to sound like a basic type of thing but that is about where I am at with regards to getting into all this and I really want to make sure I don't jump into buying something when I should've made sure it was what I needed to achieve the results I am after. Thanks yet again for any help at all.

    Starting out.

Hi there. I am looking to start a business designing smaller things like stickers and business logos for vehicle windows etc... Not really interested in making banners etc.... I am really new to the whole deal and am looking for some direction on what would be a good cutter to purchase and all the other things like software etc.. that I would need to get started. Would prefer to use software that is very user friendly but at the same time offers lots of features for effects. Any tips or help including website links would be really, really appreciated. Thanks alot.
