When you are in Cutter mode there is a Setup. You can change the size of your vinyl there.

I'm guessing if your rollers are that much too long that your stand is not assembled correctly.

I've been getting mine from Signwarehouse. I know they get a lot of crap on this site but I have never had a problem. I usually use Oracal. I like the way it weeds. I've tried Arlon from a local place and it seems really rubbery and I have to increase the pressure to get it to cut all of the way through.

I have had mine do the same thing. For me if I unplug the USB cable from the cutter it seems to unlock it. It doesn't cure the problem but it fixes the symptoms.

One I know of is the Tesla. One of my friends spent some time in Europe setting up a Engineering Data Mamagement system for them. 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds and it looks sharp. http://www.teslamotors.com/

I'm trying to put together a mirror for neighborhood poker tournament we do every year. It will be kind of a trophy that will stay at the hosts house and have the winners names on it. I'm looking for any ideas on what it might look like and also poker related items to put on it. I did see the full house have from another post. Please let me know.

I see where the A1 B3 and H7 came from. Those are the pages in the tutorial where a particular function is talked about. They are not shortcuts.

It sounds like you are looking at the "Learning Guide - A seven hour journey to productivity". Do you have the actual software loaded too?

What cutter program came with your cutter? I have SignBlazer. It does not have a clipboard that is visible like some Microsoft products but if you selest the elements in Adobe that you want to copy and do a Ctrl + C this will copy those elements to your "Clipboard". Then if you open your cutter program and do a Ctrl + V it will paste them into your cutter program. (You can also do a Edit + Paste from Clipboard.) Same as most all windows based programs work. I have both Adobe and Signblazer. I rarely ever open Adobe.

I think it depends on the size of your workspace what the notches between the numbers represent. They don't appear to be full inches. If you are showing Inch in the upper left corner though you are in Inch mode. A couple of pointers. Text does not have to be converted to curves to cut. Only Vector elements will show up in the cutter window. (this may be why some of your pasted things don't show up) If an element is completely out of the pink box it will not show up in the cut window. Also you have a color list that shows up in the cut window. Only the selected colors will cut (Ones without the red X on them). You can select more than one at a time using standard windows key functions.

Contour cutting is where you print out a design. The printed design will include some index markers that the Laser point can read and use to cut out the outline of the design.

I have the PCut. it must be different because I don't hve to reset between cuts.

John, in the cutter setup there is a check box to advance the vinyl after cutting. Is this what you are talking about?

Are you trying to cut everything from the same color? If so just try to change everything to one color. I opened it and there seems to be about 6 colors.

I had a design doing this but it was in the cutter path. When you ran the cut it would show solid lines in the replay (instead of dashed lines when the cutter is in the air). Every thing looked good on the screen except when I would do a Node Edit of the geometry. Then some points (nodes) would shoot of the screen. I had to re-create the geometry to fix it. I saved some screen shots of the replay. I will post them later.
