What programs do you have? We can show you how to do it yourself.. Alot more rewarding and faster, because you don't have to wait for someone to do it for you. Let us know and plenty of us would be glad to help you. Alan

I'd be careful about copyrights on this one if you're selling them... Dog will come and get ya! JK

Suggestions on what to offer for sale at fairs, etc...
AbsoluteAirbrush replied to The Elvis Legacy's topic in Off Topic Section
Not to be unhelpful, but every area is different, and at fairs you have a very wide range of people, so you'll need to try to have somethng for everyone, or at least as much as you can... do a goggle search for the items you want and you'll find plenty of places... Good Luck! Alan -
can someone trace this for me?

Why not use inkscape? It's free and does a great job! Good Luck! Alan -
Banner problems Need help fast PLEASE
AbsoluteAirbrush replied to Cutting_Edge's topic in General Help
Fixing it in vinyl would be easier and look more like it should. Good Luck! Alan -
You have to edit the nodes in order to smooth them, not sure about signblazer, but in inkscape, I know you can select multiple nodes and smooth them... someone will probably chime in on how to do this in signblazer but I only cut with signblazer, and do everything else in inkscape. This approach will get the job done for you plus you'll learn how to do it yourself. :-) Good Luck!

I agree, either ask questions in order to do it yourself or hire someone, there's plenty of people that will do it for a small fee... takes money to make money

Hi All, Looking for some prices for full color banners printed 4' x 10' and they will have 40 12" x 12" pics of my airbrush designs that I use at my softball tourneys. I'll provide good quality pics and can convert them to most file types. Either post here, email or call me. Thank you for your time! Alan

how did you get your business started ?
AbsoluteAirbrush replied to integra90racer's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I checked out your site... off to a god start... if you want some constructive criticism? Get pics of your work up there if you don't already have them, just glanced quickly... And in my opinion, everyone has one, right? I wouldn't put on there that you are home based... I realize that they may find out anyway at some point, but by then, hopefully you;ve made a sale or at least have enough of their interest where it doesn't matter as much... And don't get me wrong, nothing bad or wrong about being home based, as I'm fulltime at this and I'm homebased, you just in my opinion want to project a brick and mortar image so to speak to increase your value in the customer's eyes. good Luck! I didn't pay for an upgrade, I jsut forwarded the domain from godaddy... did this through the my account controls on godaddy... I'd consult with godaddy or yola and see what you need to do. When I first started, yola was called synthasite and things seemed to be simpler then before they went to yola. Good Luck! Alan -

To set up the contest, I already had a personal page with hundreds of friends, so I posted it there... If you don't have that, then you'll have to get creative.. -
I hear ya guys... I airbrush, do vinyl, and screenprint... tired just typing it! LOL

Nice work Pro! Alan

You don't need to worry about the size until you have it vectored and ready to cut it, then you size it to the proper size and then cut it. Are you going to put the letters that you cut back on the tailgate? If so, you'll most likely need to make them slightly smaller to make sure you put the letters on the flat surface of the letters and not get into the beveled parts. Another idea, sounds like the logo, why not search online for a pic with the letters and vectorize from that? good Luck! Alan
-
Yes as long as the letters are a different color which I can only assume that they are... If you can't get a good clean vector that way, then you can invert the colors which will change what was black to white and vice versa.. Hope that makes sense. Good Luck! Alan
-
Take a good pic and then convert to black and white image, then vectorize, clean and cut. Good Luck! Alan

+! I don't know what it is but on every forum I visit for any length of time, always someone out there that just wants to be negative and start, ummm. stuff, when there isn't anything there... Guess they just like confrontation and the drama of it all. You do nice work VM! Keep it up! Alan

why does my image do this when tracing?
AbsoluteAirbrush replied to SurberSigns's topic in General discussion
It's either a low res picture to begin with or you need to adjust your trace settings(if you have them), as I don't use illustrator.
