hi i get that problem all the time - but now i've learned how to node edit - its a time consuming fix, what sostware are you using to convert the image to vector? - you should find node editing on that programe, also in the past i have scanned in a printed image to solve the problem, hope that helps hayley

Hi thanks for your reply's i will try and post a picture - it looks like little scratch marks, but i think it is the wax from the grease proof paper? it's definately hot flex vinyl, i just don't have a heat press - so use my iron, Thanks again for your help

hi can anyone tell me how to remove white marks from black vinyl?? i dont have a heat press and use my iron and grease proof paper, i don;t know if i leaned too hard,but now black vinyl is showing a couple of white spots - how can i get it off - i washed the shirt but it didn't come off!!! please help if you can Thank you in advance

hi, sorry, i seem to be 1 step forward 2 steps back, i've learned loads since you guys last helped me - but im stuck on this and getting no where, when i trace it to vectorise - the head and rings go square - can anyone vectorise this and keep the gymnasts shape please. Hi,, Wish someone told me about this when i got my cutter EH721 just before xmas, I'm learning the hard way to say the least !!!! if anybody knows of any tutorials out there - id like to see them, i use coral trace to trace my image -save it as a plotter file - then Castope lite to cut - sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't!!! I'm about to re install Castope to see if that helps Thank you in advance for any info given

Hi, I would try editing that in paint - if you only want the word, but here's a good site for fonts, based on all types of hand writing, you'l probably get something close. http://www.kevinandamanda.com/fonts/ i got some great ones on there - and they are free - and they have an idiots guide to install them (believe me - i need idiots guides for everything lol) Anyway hope that helps. hi can anyone clean this for vector?? or even tell me how to do it, ive uninstalled my castope light and reinstalled - but no use, i traced on corel draw - but there are lots of extra cut lines and i cant see the proper image when opened in vector software, thank you in advance

Thank you to everyone for their help, I cut a small one of these todat to try and it looks good, as usual a lot of wasted vinyl, so i cut and pasted my original image in paint, trying to get that to cut - but again the inside of the letters show wee white lines - a bit like sewing lines, so i will keep trying Thanks again

hi does anyone know why holographic vinyl is so hard to cut, mine is a nightmare, it has a silver holographic backing - so you cant see the cut. any advice would be gratefuly recieved

Thanks roger, Isuppose it is all trial and error, I will just have to get used to testing more, its just i don't really cut a lot of the same things, because im just playing around with it just now, i jump from one thing to the next, Thanks again for your help.

Hi And thank you - I have signblazer too, but where i got my cutter from said i should use Castope, it has the wire frame thing so i will try that - if i see extra lines can i delete them? would i delete the nodes to do that? (i've just watched a tutorial about nodes) tee hee - cos till this morning i didn't know what they were... Thanks again
