Corel X5 is great, but it can take some getting used too. I use it exclusively at work with a Roland GX-24. I do my layouts in Corel X5, paste them into Cutstudio, press ctrl+p, and done....

Thanks for your input As far as a printer, I was going to go with the Epson WF1100 that Cobraink.com has. I knew I couldn't print white, but I wasn't sure how white was obtained through that process. Thank you for this bit of information. This will save me some headaches down the road. I'm not sure I follow you on this. Are you saying the laser is for alignment only? I have used the Roland tons here at work (I'm a Computer Tech, not necessarily a signmaker) but have never used the contour cut feature on it.

Hello All, In the next 30 Days or so, I am looking to purchase a vinyl cutter, printer, and heat press. I need to be able to do contour cuts, to cut around prints to be pressed on to t-shirts. I have been looking at the USCutter LaserPoint Vinyl Cutter w/ CONTOUR CUTTING. Is this cutter compatible with CorelDraw X5? Is there any special software I will need to use the contour cutting feature? How does one produce white, to go on dark fabrics? Would it be better to do this with some sort of vinyl than with a printer? I have some experience with vinyl cutting. I have been using a Roland GX-24 at work now for about 7 months w/ CorelDraw and Cut Studio. I will probably have many, many more questions, but these are just a couple I have off the top of my head.
