Hmm just wish the Sihl 3988 wasn't so expensive! I would be all over it, I just dont have a cutter that will contour cut so I would have to do all that by hand.... I also don't see any smaller rolls? I really only need 12" or so wide...

Who has links to these said magnetic blanks?? My father is needing some for the sides of his work trucks. I also could make some for my truck, was going to put vinyl on them... but if they will run though my WF1100 why not right?
-
That size I would be about $15-20 each shipped or local.

O fine I played haha

Pigment inks are not ONLY for T-shirt printing
I've had great results printing decals on sihl 3988 with the pigment inks. Absolutely no complaints here. Pigment is a great all around ink.
Hmmm.... might have to order some and give it a try. I would LOVE to be able to print on vinyl....

Pigment inks are not ONLY for T-shirt printing, but if you plan on doing that I would highly recommend the pigment inks. A little more money but its good stuff and worth it.
I am already planning out my next printer from him. I am a graphic designer and would like to soon be opening up a little print/design shop somewhere so you can never have too many printers! haha

Nice Dodge shirt!

It would actually be nice if you shared the username... so more people don't get screwed... OR maybe someone on here knows that person and knows why they havent been around? Just a thought....

Ya that was kinda my feeling as well, just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy haha

Thank you both very much!

something about it is just way to busy. Shoot me a PM with some more details and I could try and help you out a bit. I am still on break for another couple weeks, gotta keep the design skills sharp or my professors will kick my butt when I get back!

Yep it's pretty simple. Cobra ink sells one with the waste ink removal syringe for $18.50. It's worth it IMHO; no need to go shopping around for parts, plus you're supporting Richard. It's the least we can do for the amount of ink he saves us with his CISS.
But like you said, it's definitely not that difficult. All you're doing is rerouting the tube.
That is who I bought my printer and CISS preinstalled from. Well worth the extra money. The Waste tank... just amazing, you can re-use the waste ink in one of your black tanks. I haven't tried it yet... and would be unsure it would be true black...
Richard at Cobra is the man! Send him an E-mail, you have a response within an hour TOPS, most times it less than 15 minutes. Get customer service with them.

Can someone just convert this to an EPS or even AI format for me please?
Sorry I had to zip it, you can't attach a .cdr for some reason?

Yes, I'm having a problem with the 11 x 17 feeding threw.
The WF 1100 only has one roller so the large papers get stuck or jam.
Were you able to test it?
hmm thats odd. The only time I ever had an issue was when I asked my girlfriend to load up more paper and she put way to much in haha

MAke sure you pull the banner nice and tight, my first one came out perfect because it was stretched nice and tight.

R-Tape 4076
in Vinyl
even on automotive applications, any reason to not use the medium 4075 tack? What about the AT-60 clear?

So I am looking in my Oracal color books (I have 2 ordered from different places) and the 651 in lime tree green doesn't look very good at all. It looks like a faded grass green, in both books. When I then look to the 751 or any other type, its an amazing bright lime green. Do I have bad books? Is this really the case? I am about to place an order.... but this color issue is about to stop me...
Help!

Thats a good price, Fellers sells it for $84.50 so deff a good deal!
ya but only $64.99 on here, plus the $9.99 for shipping of course
-
Just saying haha I get that but its such a tiny little piece it can be hard to tell sometimes.
-
How accurate are those little pieces though? The lime tree green doesn't look very lime to me...
