  3. I am trying to contour cut using arms and now all of a sudden after the arms detects the first mark it will try and move the vinyl to the next mark but it will only go half way and try to look for the mark. I have tired using my own cut files and the test arms file you can print and test from VM. Both are failing to push the page far enough to find the second mark. Would anyone know why? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software
  4. Recently my new LaserPoint 3 cutter has been working fine. For some reason now when using vinyl master pro I am trying to do a contour cut using arms and now it wont work. The arms system detects the first mark and then when it moves the vinyl down to the next mark it stops half way. I have even tried using the test arms print out and it does the same thing. can anyone help?
  5. Hello, Would anyone happen to know why the rotate button on the vinyl spooler is not working when I go to cut my contour cut? I created a contour print and cut using vinyl master. I printed the job which was 45" by 100". I had to print the job sideways because of course my printer isn't 100" wide. Now when I go to use the saved cut file for this contour cut it shows in the spooler as too wide. I have had this happen before and I hit the rotate button which would tell it to just feed the cut in the other way to fit. For some reason it will show as rotated correctly but when I click cut not and go to the arms lineup stage, it shows the width the wrong direction again. I swear I was able to rotate cut files before. Please see images for more context. Thank you.

Laser point 3 manual contour cut

Okay, I did ask support and they said play around with it because they have no exact answer lol. I was also thinking about drawing the lines but I don’t really know where exactly to place them.. or does it matter?

Laser point 3 manual contour cut

I am going to start using ARMS but I printed this job with the manual marks for my old mh cutter before it broke. I don’t want to reprint and laminate because it’s over 10 feet of material.
  8. Hello, I have recently bought a laser point 3 after my mh series broke. I am trying to use the manual contour cut with vinyl master to manually plot out the printed ultra marks on my vinyl. The problem is that the controls on the software are not moving the cartridge so that I can line up the points. I have tried to even do the test calibration for manual cuts and they do not do anything either. Would anyone happen to know why it won’t control the cartridge from the software?
  9. I have tried to set the cutter to 0,0 but I am still having the same issue. I think it’s a motherboard issue now because it won’t even test cut the box anymore via the button on the control panel.
  10. I have just come across this issue where when using vinly master pro and doing a contour cut using their ultra marks the vinyl will now roll off the cutter and for some reason the rollers will not stop at the correct length. I have tried everything and cannot find out why the vinyl is being pushed out of the cutter even though it says the correct length in the software. Does anyone have any ideas? Edit: Now when I try to test cut the box wont even complete. the cutter cuts one line moves over drops the blade and then stops. This all started after I started a cut and everything was going good until it started going off and cutting random lines. I hit reset and ever since the cutter has not worked correctly
