  1. Are you entering the width and length of your media manually somewhere? Or you don't need to at all? Can you do do print and cut on separate machines with your set up?
  2. I don't know what's going on. Roll 2 seems to work with sensors disabled, but its cutting a 50% size.
  3. Same thing, except on the cut from left to right, it stops about 2-3 inches before getting to the right edge. So, its still attached on the right side and doesn't fall out.
  4. Yup. Changed it. No difference. I gotta have something wrong in menus, but it seems like the reset would have cleared it?
  5. I did that the first time. I tried that this time since the problem was still there. Feels soooo close.
  6. Yup. That's what I see. I did find the manual and was able to locate sensor and components. Thank you. Cleaned and so far no Y position alarm. No this...2nd video, 1 minute
  7. I just saw that. The down arrow was the method given to me by Graphtech Support yesterday. I did the Up arrow about 10 minutes ago and nothing changed. Still cutting the paper and letting it fall out of the back.
  8. Hello. I was using my FC 7000-75 last night with no issues what so ever. This morning I went to use it and got a Y position alarm. I turned off the machine and it comes right back after I hit Roll 1 Rear, disengage media lock and hit enter. If I disable pinch sensor via control panel, I do not get the error, but it does not know media width. I read on another post that the problem is most likely a misaligned sensor, a dirty sensor or bent (sensor) tab/plate under the cover. I am guessing under the carriage cover. I am trying to find out the location of the sensor and tab/plate on the carriage. I don't really know what I'm looking for. This is the link to the post that I found: Thanks
  9. Aaah. I misread your original post. You are already stating it isn't there. Sorry.
  10. Did anyone happen to save the documents from that link? I have an FC 7000-75 with a Y position alarm. I saw on another thread that it could be from a misaligned sensor or something. I am trying to locate that particular sensor on my unit to check its alignment or the condition of the metal plate it refers to.
  11. Hello. I know its been a while? Did you fix your machine? I am having the same issue. I am having the same issue with my FC 7000.
  12. Is that using the USB or parallel cable?

Hello from Northern VA - New to Cutting

Thank you. I'll have to give it a shot. Tried Vinyl Master Demo and had issues.
