Cutting a drag line from letter to letter

We got another plotter and were trying to set it up.

The problem is that its cutting lines from each letter to letter when it drags across the design.

Also it is not finishing all the letters.

Is it a pressure setting?

We are using flexisign and a creation pcut 1200.

For Flexi, make sure you are using the Creation PCut CT1200 DMPL driver.
