TorbenC 4 Posted June 4, 2014 I now had my Copam CP-2500 for 2 months, and the demand for vinyl-cutting and multicolored stickers are growing.I have been offered a Roland SP-540v for $8000, the machine had a huge service 1 year ago. It's a lot of money, but I think I can get them back pretty fast.Does anyone know anything about "CIS" / DIY fill with Roland Machines? And should I look on other models or brands of print/cutters ? I would like to be able to make banners and posters also. Hit me
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted June 4, 2014 personally I only stick to the oem ink after using aftermarket ink in my first printer - cost more less problems. make sure you have a clean head nozzle check for that price - should be NO missing misfiring nozzles - heads are about $900 each + install.for me and many of my friends roland versacamm is the only way to fly. not sure about the market in denmark but in the us the competition with high volume low cost printers makes it harder to recoup the cost of the printer as opposed to just 3-4 years ago
